Short but lovely stay
Pros:

If we come to Chester we will definitely be staying here again. The staff were friendly, the location was perfect and we had a good nights sleep.

Perfect location, with an offsite car park just 2mins walk away. Large, well decorated rooms.

Fabulous location, could do with a refresh in room.
Pros:

Location was incredible, staff were lovely

Cons:

The bed in room 4 was very uncomfortable the mattress was thin and very used, it was like sleeping on springs.
The place could do with a refresh, whilst bedding was fresh, the bathroom had sealant broken, broken tiles and stains on carpet.

Good when you need to be close to Cathedral.
Pros:

Friendly staff; great breakfast. Close to Cathedral. Generous room and bathroom size. Nice to have a big bath as well as an excellent shower. Given the heat in the room we appreciated the huge electric fan.

Cons:

Room very very hot and - of course given location - very noisy.

Disappointing as hotel Shabby and not even a 3 star
Pros:

Not a lot - definitely not a 4 star hotel and barely a 3 star

Cons:

Dated and shabby - hallways dingy and with odours - curtains hanging off hooks - no mini-fridge - duvet cover too big for duvet - grout coming out of tiles in bathroom- bath towels too small - no staff overnight - no servicing of room - had to ask for soap for sink - toiletries minimal.

Ideal central location. Helpful staff. lovely room.
Pros:

Lovely large room with comfortable seating area. Perfect location opposite the cathedral, the venue I was using in the day. Helpful staff.

Cons:

A bit noisy - outside seating and other cafes very busy in the evening and in the hot weather I needed the windows open.
