Amazing accomodation in nice Sri Lanka nature
Pros:

This stay was really amazing, the location and the accomodation itselves is really beautiful. All the staff at the hotel is also super friendly and always willing to help with everything. There are two swimming pools, it is not far from beach, not far from restaurants

Sehr schönes Hotel in entspannter Lage mit einigen kleinen Störfaktoren
Pros:

Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön, ruhig gelegen, mit zwei verschiedenen Pools. Unser Zimmer war sehr gross, wir hatten sogar eine kleine Küche mit Kühlschrank. Das Badezimmer ist ebenfalls gross. Alles war sehr sauber bei unserer Ankunft. Vor dem Zimmer gibt es einen Tisch auf der Veranda, was uns sehr gefallen hat.
Wir konnten über die Rezeption relativ spontan einen Scooter leihen, zu einem vergleichsweise günstigen Preis. Im Hotel kann man Wasser und andere Getränke kaufen, sowie Essen direkt aufs Zimmer bestellen. Die Preise sind fair und das Essen hat uns gut geschmeckt. Auch das Frühstück war lecker und abwechslungsreich, jeden Tag gab es eine Auswahl an verschiedenem Gebäck, Eierspeisen & Obst sowie Getränken.

Cons:

Im Zimmer hat es leider durchgängig etwas muffig gerochen.
Direkt nebenan ist eine Baustelle, die teilweise sehr laut ist, und auf der relativ früh morgens (ca. 8 Uhr) begonnen wird, zu arbeiten. Man hört es sowohl im Zimmer, als auch am Pool.
Das Personal war sehr unterschiedlich freundlich und professionell. Es gibt einige, ziemlich junge, Mitarbeitende, die beim Frühstück oder am Pool durchgängig sehr laut herumgealbert haben, sodass wir uns etwas gestört fühlten. Leider habe ich mich zwischenzeitlich auch etwas beobachtet gefühlt, insbesondere von jüngerem, männlichen Personal.

Comfortable stay with great food and ambiance, but affected by pool and parking issues
Pros:

The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. We booked two double rooms and one family room, both double rooms had plenty of space and even included a separate pantry area. The bathrooms were clean and well-maintained.
The family room, which featured an attic, was also very spacious and added to the overall comfort of our stay.
We really enjoyed the breakfast and it was delicious and satisfying. The villa itself is surrounded by lot of greenery, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.

Cons:

The only downside was the pool and parking. There are two pools on the property, but both seemed to have a very high level of chlorine. The strong smell was noticeable around the pool area, and while using the smaller pool, it caused eye irritation. Also, some of our friends noticed discoloration in their swimwear after using the pool.
Parking was also a bit inconvenient, as there is no properly organized parking space. We often had to wait for other vehicles to be moved before we could leave the premises.

Relaxing stay
Pros:

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Nirmala Villa Habaraduwa! The location is perfect if you’re looking for a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature. Waking up to a symphony of birds and enjoying the view of the Pools and garden, with monkeys and squirrels nearby, was simply magical.The rooms are modern and well-equipped. The water pressure and hot water were exceptional – something you don’t often find in Sri Lanka.
The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. They assisted us with arranging a tuk-tuk and a scooter and went above and beyond to accommodate all our requests.Breakfast was outstanding, featuring a generous buffet which was absolutely delicious.
We would love to come back and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a unique and relaxing stay!

Отель классный! Несколько корпусов, территория не большая, но очень зелёная, красивая, ухоженная, есть маленький искусственный водопадик, карпы плавают. Два бассейна, но они для нас оказались холодными к большому сожалению .....Завтрак- шведский стол, много острого, не удалось оценить их кухню, на вид красиво, но есть невозможно. Заказывала вечером в номер суп, т.к лил ливень и не смогли пойти в кафе, так я его ждала больше 1 часа, суп, кстати, был не плох и не острый. Номер нам достался шикарный, огромный, он больше моей квартиры....с лестницей на второй этаж, там лежали два матраса с бельем, дочь их соединила и получила одну огромную кровать, я спала внизу тоже на огромной кровати, на столько удобных номеров я ещё не встречала - огромный встроенный шкаф, дополнительные деревянные стеллажи у входа в душ, у входа в номер- есть куда повесить сушить купальники и полотенца, гладильная доска, утюг, телевизор, он правда не нужен, холодильник, чайник, посуда, доска разделочная, нож, ложки, вилки, и даже фумигаторы, правда некоторые были почти пустые, нет шампуней, гелей- они специально не кладут их, т.к. считают, что у людей может быть аллергия, позиционируют себя как ЭКО отель. Номер выходил на оба бассейна , два балкона, номер был тупиковый, нет лишних глаз, но было одно НО- т.к. номер двухэтажный, второй этаж треугольный и там не было никаких занавесок/жалюзи. С восходом солнца просыпались и мы, солнце просто как прожектор светило в глаза, так что берите маску для глаз и беруши, где то по соседству лаяла собака по утрам. Несмотря на некоторые неудобства- отель супер, расположение хорошее, планируем все равно в него вернуться дня на три, сестре показать)

Cancelled the reservation at the check in due to rude attitude.

We were asked to pay the total price at check in. When I requested to see the room which I booked before paying the lady who was in charge refused to show us our room. Instead she asked me to check the photos of our room on my phone through www.booking.com. I have been a www.booking.com customer since 2008 and never experienced a similar attitude in Sri Lanka or in abroad. I cancelled my reservation and reserved a room in Haru Ahangama .
