Veldig god mottagelse og høy servicegrad. Frokost og middag i gourmetrestauranten er fremragende, med utmerket service,
Hotellet er vanskelig tilgjengelig med bil første gang. Dette ble oppveiet av at personalet bisto med å kjøre bilen gjennom byen og inn i garasjen. Kunne vært bedre beskrevet i forhåndsinformasjon.

Everything was great
Elegant finishes, pleasant smiling staff with excellent spoken English, relatively small number of rooms, great location just inside city walls, breakfast table served, excellent cappuccino.
The water seems to be softened so very slick on the skin.
Wonderful hotel in a great location. The staff here are just so wonderful- from front desk to breakfast, they were all exceptional. The spa was beautiful and a welcome addition on rainy days. The rooms were cleaned so thoroughly each day. Lovely huge bath in the bathroom. Very peaceful hotel, possibly due to the high ceilings and thick walls but we never heard other guests despite it being busy, which was just wonderful! Breakfast was fantastic, loved the eggs made to order. A great base to explore a lot of Tuscany.
Our room on the ground floor was very peaceful and spacious but had no view, surprising for a superior room. Waited about 40 minutes for a drink at the bar, odd experience despite no one being there. The spa pool could have been warmer...but I do run cold so that could just be me.
El hotel es precioso. El personal muy amable y atento. La comida muy rica. Nos encantó especialmente el desayuno. Estaba muy cerca de Cortona y se podía ir caminando fácilmente. Todo nos gustó!!!

Die Küche geht auf individuelle Wünsche direkt ein, ist sehr kreativ und beeindruckend.
Zufahrt durch die engen Gassen von Cortona mit mittleren und grösseren Mietautos ist für ungeübte Fahrer allenfalls erschwert
Der fixe Eintrittspreis für den doch relativ kleinen Spa-Bereich ist nicht passend.

Everything was absolutely amazing! Beautiful room looking over Tuscany, exceptionally friendly helpful and professional staff, best breakfast we’ve ever had - really out of this world, amazing evening meal in their restaurant. Cocktails were to due for. fabulous, atmospheric and perfectly maintained building with beautiful interior and really well maintained grounds outside. We will definitely be returning.

The staff at this property were very kind and they also provided a beautiful breakfast each morning.
We drove a car to this property and appreciated that they staff offered to park our car in the underground parking for us, as the entrance was very small and even with our small Audi we were uncomfortable trying to self-park in such a narrow entrance.
We were staying here a few nights on our honeymoon and the room that we reserved was the Superior Double Room with City Views. We were given room 413, which was a room that only had one window that you had to climb up 4 stairs to look out of, and the view was of the roof, not the city. The room felt like we were in a "hobbit house" and very dark and "cubby" like. I was immediately uncomfortable that I didn't have light with a window to look out of. It made me feel very claustrophobic. We mentioned it to the staff, and they showed us another room that was bare minimum, very small, and did have a window, but the room had a musty smell and was very small, so we decided to just stay in the "hobbit" room they originally put us in. In hindsight we should have insisted on moving us to a better room with a window since we were paying over $500 US a night for this room. They did provide a bottle of champagne to celebrate our honeymoon, but in the room, we just didn't feel celebratory in our little "hobbit" room, so we did not open it to enjoy. Location was nice, as we could walk to everything.
Staff were quite outstanding. Attentive and anticipated needs including carrying bags to and from car, guiding into garage, introduction to hotel. Yes, it is expensive but worth what it costs. It is particularly appealing to have a Michelin restaurant within the hotel (as well as a second casual place) with the expected levels of service, cuisine and ambience. So good we ate there both nights with excellent variety of options.
Access is atrocious! Obviously not the fault of the hotel but you do need nerves of steel (and preferably a compact car) to get into and out of the city. Rather helpfully they sent a video of the implausible route without which I would have seriously doubted if it really was a road or merely a pedestrian access! Overall worth the stress to be right inside this amazing town.
