Ideal for my one night visit, close to where I needed to be.
Pros:

Ideal location for my work, unfortunately the town is looking very tired, however the hotel is very nice and the breakfast was excellent.

Nice hotel in the centre of Kington
Pros:

The staff were lovely. An item of clothing was left behind and they were so kind about locating it and sending it to us.
The hotel is ideally located in the centre of Kington

Cons:

The room was very hot in the heatwave. No AC. Had to ask for a fan. The window only opens a few inches. Security is fairly lax. Anyone can walk up to the rooms

Sufficient parking available.

Cons:

Only after booing a non-refundable room was I informed that the spa would not be open during my stay - it was the main reason I booked this establishment.

Only stayed one night. At breakfast, after half an hour of waiting, I asked when my food would be ready - and was told that the cook had no outstanding orders.
Had to leave, so couldn't wait for them to start cooking it.
No refund or goodwill gesture offered.

Average stay for walkers.
Pros:

Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Good breakfast. Great it starred st 7.15am so we could start our walk early.

Cons:

Bathroom was very tired and old, not particularly clean
Dinner was average.
Didn't use the swimming pool because one of the staff had brought a lot of friends to use the facilities. Shame as after a long day's walk it would have been nice.

Great for my needs, super staff, would recommend
Pros:

Great location for my visit, the food was superb and the staff were wonderful. The cloud 9 wellness suite was well equipped.

Cons:

It’s a little dated and the room I had didn’t have aircon which on one of the hottest weekends of the year so far wasn’t ideal but at least the window wasn’t restricted like most hotels so that helped.
With the wellness area the pool is a little small and unfortunately at the time I was able to visit it was too full to allow me to swim. I still made use of the gym.
9am is opening is just too late so earlier opening hours would be great to allow people to get in before half the day is gone

Pros:

Dinner was lovely, fish from the specials board. Cooked breakfast was good and to order. Fruit available but poor selection, but understandable not wanting waste.

Happy to stay here again
Pros:

I had a lovely welcome which is always a good start. All the staff were great.
My food, leek and potato soup and lamb curry were both tasty, but missed that 'something' that makes food great.
Breakfast was good with plenty of options.
My room was very small, but well laid out and had everything you might need.
I'd be happy to stay there again.
