Great place to stay in Lincoln
Pros:

A large, clean and nicely decorated room, with plenty of light and a comfortable bed. Modern bathroom with a powerful shower. Great location in the upper city, right across the road from the castle and 5 minutes walk from the Cathedral and lots of pubs, coffee shops and restaurants. Ideal place to stay and competitively priced compared to most of the other hotels and guesthouses in this part of Lincoln.

Cons:

Room was a bit too warm for me and there was no way to adjust the temperature, so I didn't have the best night's sleep.

I do not recommend at all.
Pros:

Location is good/ central

Cons:

I rarely give a bad review as standards are usually pretty good, but my wife and I were both very disappointed with the Bronze Pig. It’s trying to position/ act like a bijou boutique hotel and it’s not at all. It’s more like a bedsit, being dingy, with smelly sticky carpets, small rooms and the smallest bed I have ever slept in, with a weird collection of furniture (not eclectic). The highlight was the brown plastic panels in the corridor which did make us laugh as they were so very cheap! Access is also via a steep stairwell, with no disability support whatsoever. And the restaurant was closed for a refurb. All told, we couldn’t wait to leave.

Adequate for a couple of nights
Pros:

Good location. Short walk to city centre. Clean

Cons:

Close to the road. Needed a window open to sleep comfortably, therefore, fumes from the cars.

Clean, comfortable, just the job
Pros:

Situated round the back of lincoln castle the accommodation was ideal for the main tourist attractions. There was plenty of paid car parks around. The property was clean and I good order. The bed was incredibly comfy.

Cons:

My room was at the front of the property on the main road so it was quite noisy during the day. However, the road was quiet in the evening and at night so it was fine.

Lovely comfortable room, but on a busy road.
Pros:

Room was spacious and comfortable. Bathroom was large and clean.

Cons:

It was really warm in the room, could have done with a fan. Opening the window resulted in a lot of noise from a busy road, but this cant be helped.
As this was our last stop of a long trip we really just wanted to relax in the room, but the TV was not connected to the internet so were stuck with standard channels. That's not a complaint as such, it just would have made it better.
