Pros:

The hotel itself was incredibly beautiful with many different forms of leisure (Sauna, Gym, pool, etc). Our room was clean and had a brilliant view of the river. Upon arrival in our room, we received a nice written card with some cookies.. love the small details. The hotel staff were always friendly and willing to help out with any issues or inconveniences. The morning breakfast buffet was divine and accompanied with a great view of the river. We will defo return to the hotel in future! 10/10!

Pros:

L’emplacement, à deux arrêts de Tram de la gare et du cœur d’Amsterdam. La vue sur le fleuve. L’hôtel offre une cuisine raffinée.
Les chambres sont modernes et très agréables. La première a eu un petit soucis de robinet ils ont réagi très vite à nous ont changé de chambre, très professionnels.

Cons:

Le prix du parking, pas indiqué lors de ma réservation donc surprise de payer un supplément de 160€ pour 4 jours à mon arrivé. Le tarif dans la rue est de 5€ de l’heure donc le parking de l’hôtel est toujours plus intéressant. La piscine est assez petite.

Absolutely lovely, we will return to this very special place.
Pros:

The hotel Jakarta feels elegant without being elitist and makes sustainability appear effortless. We loved the food in the restaurant, there was always enough breakfast even when arriving late. And supper in the restaurant was lovely too. The Restaurant staff, from the chaps working in the kitchen to the maitre de, were happy and friendly and it was a pleasure to be in that environment. The bakery was lovely for lunch too.
Our room was very comfortable and had fabulous views out over the bridge and the river, particularly stunning at night. We loved the location being a little out of the city so we could escape after a day of mad adventures and indulge at the Spa which was open until 10pm.

Cons:

The only thing my daughter would take issue with was the bath and shower not having a door. Fine for couples ( the loo has a door ) but a teenage daughter travelling with a parent found that a bit too uninhibited for her taste

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was very good!

Cons:

It’s a bit of a walk from the tram stop, which could be challenging if you’re travelling with a lot of luggage.

Solid 4 star hotel
Pros:

Location is excellent. Close to central railway station and cruise terminals. The ground floor cafe is nice and convenient for buffet breakfast and a-la-carte dinner.

Cons:

Room interior design felt a bit outdated. Not a big deal. This is the only reason I gave overall 9/10 score.

Great stay in a lovely hotel
Pros:

Everything was good, staff went over and above. The welcome gift was appreciated. Food there is good and reasonable for Amsterdam prices. Breakfast was a very good selection of cooked food and pastries.

Cons:

The light in the toilet coming on automatically when the door was opened, getting up at 3am to use the facilities meant it was not a pleasant thing!

Beautiful hotel with an amazing staff
Pros:

The property is beautiful and in an interesting location. It is a 30 minute walk to the Central Station.

Cons:

It is a bit more difficult to walk to major sites but it was perfect for using Uber to get around.

Very lovely and comfortable place to stay
Pros:

Very attractive property with lots of greenery. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The rooms seemed very sound proofed. The hotel restaurant and bars were excellent.

Cons:

Nothing in way of shops or restaurants in the vicinity. Central Station is about a 30 minute walk.

Pretentious but not even meeting basic standards of hospitality

The champagne bar on level 8 was nice

Cons:

The room I booked did not mirror the room they gave me. I was paying €500 per night for a standard room with a single bed, they refused to do anything about it. It’s far away from everything, no shops close and they don’t even give a complimentary bottle of water let alone a mini bar to buy from. The restaurant was by far the worst I’ve had in a long time. Despite telling them I’m allergic to mushrooms they brought me salmon with slices of mushroom on it. The staff were rude when I said I couldn’t eat it, begrudgingly they re-made and returned me raw salmon. I actually hated it so bad here I only stayed 1 night instead of 3.
