Not enough croissants for breakfast...shortage every morning with frustrated clients : could you just order more?

Please insist on quiet hours...rude clients making a racket at 23h30 is just not what you look for.

When we arrived on Monday 13th July 2026 the central heating (2 radiators)was on in the corridor bearing in mind the temperature outside was 27° it was absolutely melting when we went through the door to our room ,when we got into our room and had a look about the towel rail heater was on and couldn't turn it off it was burning hot ,the floor in the bedroom was hot I thought we had underfloor heating but was just from the heat of the central heating pipes ,we had the fan on in the room the whole visit but didn't scratch the surface with coolness so unfortunately it was a really uncomfortable night's sleep ,great hotel for a winter stay but definitely not in the summer, when we arrived we went to the bar which only had tins/bottles and when we asked for lager there was none only beer so we left it and went into town, one of the photos is of the temperature from the car when we were at Glenfinnan on the Tuesday 🥵☀️

Apartment seemed to be above kitchen/restaurant area so quite a bit of background noise when staff arriving early/staying late/on their break outside. The biggest issue though was a radiator in the living room and bathroom heated towel rail were stuck constantly on. No other radiator had this issue which was strange but meant both rooms were very hot. Luckily the weather was cool outside, so opening windows/door to the decked area kept things bearable. Staff were largely dismissive but seemed aware it was an existing issue but they hadn't informed us in advance nor offered any compensation other than use of an old fan.

Das Frühstück war sehr enttäuschend. Das Personal ( blonde junge Dame mit langen Haaren) hatte kein Verständnis für Dienstleistung. Sehr langsam im Service.
Das Zimmer wurde nicht gemacht. Ich musste selber Toilettenpapier besorgen.

Hotelli oli huonosti valmistautunut saapumiseen me. Kaikkien huoneet huoneet eivät olleet valmiit, vaikka olin etukäteen informoinut isommasta porukastamme. Vihdoin ravintolan henkilökunta sai huoneet kuntoon. Odotin muutenkin enemmän pieneltä yksityiseltä hotelilta
Vaatimattomin aamiainen koko viikon reissun aikana, vaikka samassa oli kehuttu ravintola.

We were told the room, which was very basic, had garden view, however, there was no view at all, except a wall, dirty ashtray with cigarette ends floating in a dish in filthy water. Dirty!, hadn't even been swept. Staff from kitchen regularly going back and forth with black bags of rubbish passing the patio door of the room. Bed linen felt damp, like it hadn't been dried properly. Net curtain on door was dirty along the bottom. We were looking forward to a relaxing bath after travelling to find it had a wet room ( disabled toilet) and the toiletries had all been opened and half used. We were told that all rooms were sound proofed , yet there were disturbing noises coming from a pipe that had been boxed in down the wall and lots of noise, banging doors coming from upstairs.

Das Badezimmer. Wir haben ein Badezimmer wie auf den Bildern gebucht, die vom Hotel bewertet werden. Zeitgemäß und gepflegt. Bekommen haben wir ein Badezimmer aus den 20er Jahren. Alt und verschimmelt. Wir waren in Zimmer zwei. Hätte ich dieses Badezimmer vorher gekannt, hätte ich dieses Hotel nicht gebucht.

Die Türen in den Zimmern waren sehr schlecht eingestellt, die Badtüre hat sich nur mit viel Kraft schließen lassen. Die Sanitärinstallation ist komplett verpfuscht. Das Frühstück ist unflexibel, Zeit muss gebucht werden und das kleine Buffet wird dann trotzdem teilweise nicht mehr befüllt und der Tisch ist trotzdem nicht vorbereitet trotz geringer Auslastung.

Bedroom doors couldn’t stay open but it wasn’t really a problem.

Quizá se podría mejorar el café del desayuno.
