VERY CLEAN and PERSONNEL was so NICE
Pros:

Right off of I-20, very close to mall, Sam's, gas stations, and walking distance to 3 fast food places. Grounds and building were extremely clean along with some of the nicest and sweetest front desk personnel. Breakfast are was clean and the Coffee was delicious ... definitely will be back. This was just a one night stay to break up a long drive and will definitely be back on our way home.

Highly recommend!
Pros:

Tru hotel staff was very helpful, pleasant and courteous. Our room was well stocked, very clean. Functionality was very good!! Comfortable beds with three types of pillows very nice!

After three consecutive years of staying at this property, sadly this time will be my last time.
Pros:

The location was located near all local businesses.

Cons:

The beds were horrible. The rooms were not properly cleaned, the shower had hair in it, and the pillows were not comfortable.

I was told the “ head cleaning lady cleaned room 108 July 9, 2026 and nothing at all was found in the entire bathroom, no toothbrush, no tall bottle of medication. It was like, “ WE GOTCH -A

Reliably clean
Pros:

I have recently started using the Tru line from Hilton and have found them to be very clean and very straightforward. The Tru in Meridian, Mississippi is no exception. It was exactly what we needed and nothing that we didn’t. Super clean, I love the way there’s no carpet in the rooms, no bathtubs at least not that I’ve seen, no shower curtains. Everything is easy to keep clean and kept clean. I feel like the design was well thought out for ease of maintenance. The beds are platform, so there’s no opportunity for random things to get stuck under the bed, there’s no closets just hanging space which eliminates doors that can come off of hinges or get banged around. The showers are glass, no shower curtains that can get dingy and moldy. Very clean modern lines designed to be easily cleaned and easily maintained. No bedspreads that can get icky. I found the bed to be very comfortable very fresh.. breakfast was as good as you would expect a free breakfast to be. The pancake machine was fun, but the oatmeal was a little runny. The cheese omelette was excellent. All in all, this stay in Meridian reinforced my opinion of the Tru line from Hilton and it will be my main stay from now on.
