A great pub with rooms for a very reasonable price
Pros:

Lovely place. Stayed for 3 nights for a festival in Stirling. Bus stop was right outside the door. Staff were amazing and friendly, as were the locals we met. Great prices in the bar and we can't wait to stay again.

Cons:

The hangover on Monday morning! 😂

The bed was comfy
Pros:

The bed was comfortable and the towels were white and clean. The location was perfect.

Cons:

This is the 3 year we have stayed here but will not stay again. Once you get past the entrance to rooms the whole place need a good clean and a make over. We were told last year that the rooms were ready for re-decorating. The room we stayed in this time was in need of a good clean, painting and deco needs some attention. The large wardrobe that had no doors on contained 2 bent coat hangers. Both window shelves were grubby. Only one bedside table had a lamp. No complementary bottles of water or glasses. Television didn't work properly. Information was minimal. It did say breakfast in room but no further information given. We didn't get breakfast. There was nothing comforting or homely about the room, just bare minimal.
The bathroom was dirty. Again, needed a deep clean and painting. There was mould all around the shower base both inside and out, as well as the sink. Dirty marks down the walls.
The walls were thin and you could hear the the people in the other rooms.
This year was the most we have ever paid and it was not a budget rate and certainly not worth it or value for money.

Misrepresented in the booking.com app
Pros:

This was not as advertised and as the INN did not respond to my concerns directly after our stay I cannot recommend the place. We did not actually stay IN the Bridge Inn (as reserved) but were given an apartment in a rundown apartment complex down the block. I had actually requested to cancel this reservation about a month prior to our stay and was denied - if they did not even have a room for us (as reserved) in the actual INN then I should have been allowed to cancel my reservation without penalty.

Cons:

Entrance was littered with trash, bicycles, and cigarette butts. Building smells strongly of stale smoke (the unit about 50% as bad as the building). Unit was largely bare and looks like it is mid remodel. There was no wifi (as advertised), the TV did work but had no remote, no streaming, no cable, only a few local channels. The bathroom had no mirror, the lights were all bare bulbs, no fixtures, the mop bucket and ironing board stand in the kitchen while the closets were full of construction debris. The furniture (while sparse) was relatively new and I think eventually this could be a nice UNIT (although the building is not in good shape) but this is not in the Bridge Inn and should not be advertised as though it is. All photos on the booking.com app appear very dated and no longer reflect the current condition of the place.

Clean, very basic, noisy outside.

On top of a pub, it is very noisy outside. Warm but couldn't open the window due to cigarette smoke coming into the room.

Perfectly acceptable value for money.
Pros:

This hotel has been run down in expectation of either demolition or total rebuild / renovation. All that is open is a typical Scottish public house bar and 6 bedrooms. There is no restaurant or other food service, however the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the sheets were new, the towels fluffy and the water was hot and plentiful.

Cons:

Yes, ok, you have to bring your own food in, but there are 7 different takeaways and food shops within a 5 minute walk and I had a most enjoyable Chinese meal in my room. Clean and perfectly acceptable value for money for an overnight stay.
