stylish room and comfortable bedding, locally sourced shower products, generous refreshments
Spacious and comfortable with everything you need, the bed and sheets were excellent. Couch and chairs were welcome, and there was plenty of space for luggage. The shower was great. There were a choice of art books of current Victorian artists which was a nice touch. This was appropriate as we were there for a painting weekend. The check in was via a series of emails, to explain how to access the key from the key safe. There was a follow up email to check that all was well.
The fridge was tiny and barely held our food and drinks. The room we had was next to a depot where trucks and forklifts were operating early in the morning, around 6am. This was a Friday so it was a work day, there was no noise on the Saturday morning. They were quite loud.
Beautifully presented, large room, lovely rain shower, staff communication excellent. Bed was fantastic. Had the best sleep.
Only issue was the little fridge - too small but also kept turning off and defrosting then came on and froze up again. Not great cos we had meat refrigerating. Sam was great though. Nothing he could do really.

It was close to town. Not within short walking distance but close enough. It was across the road from the famous farmers arms and “the block “ houses.
The property was so quiet, parking was just outside the door and it was so comfortable and welcoming and warm.
The fridge could have been colder. But seriously this place was beautiful!!!!

Very clean, was nice and quiet, great facilities, had everything you needed for the perfect weekend away. Close to the farmers arms and not too far a walk into town.

the motel is designed and set up with good taste and style and well thought out for comfort .
It is all great . Perhaps a discount incentive to dine and have a drink at the Farmers Arms hotel opposite.
