Perfect stay in Kyoto!
Pros:

The location was fantastic, near major sights in Kyoto and a bus stop to get elsewhere around town right next to the hotel. The staff was wonderful, friendly, generous and extremely helpful at all times. I would definitely stay here again when returning to Kyoto!

Great Stay w/a terrace!
Pros:

Amazing and helpful staff. The room was a good size for 1. All the amenities you could need. Even though my room was facing the main street, I couldn't hear anything, so I slept very well. The cleaning service was also very good. I loved the terrace! Would love to come back some day!

Cons:

There were a few scratches or weird stains on the walls/curtains. Also some of my new towels had unknown hair. That didn't personally bother me too much.

Hotel excelente
Pros:

Hotel muy cerca del templo Kiyomizudera y las calles Sannenzaka y Ninenzaka. Estoy lo hace que merezca la pena al 100%.
La habitación estaba limpia y las camas fueron bastante cómodas. Nos regalaron unas botellas con diseño del hotel que nos vinieron bien para nuestras caminatas por la ciudad.

Homely feel with attentive staff
Pros:

The staff were so friendly. There is a free drinks option on the 1st floor (entrance) and they even offer a free refillable bottle. On exit we were given biscuits which was a nice touch, and the staff also helped us with luggage forwarding.

It’s a good location nearby the Kiyomizu dera temple and by nanenzaka with lots of small shops. The terrace offered great views especially at night, and the coin laundry was useful. The staff would be the highlight as they all seemed very accommodating, and there were lots of free guides around the place with suggestions for tourists.

We were able to walk to and from Kyoto station, teamlabs biovortex, and Nishiki Market.

Cons:

I wish there was more space to store clothes as it was only one rack of hangers by the door. Though I understand that space is generally small in Japan so not too surprising. I kept bumping my arm on the TV as it was against the wall by the passageway between the twin beds and the exit, so might not be the most practical but not a reason to skip this hotel entirely.

The walk to Kawaramachi and Teramachi feels far when you’re out walking all day but bearable. There is an accessible bus as well so just something to consider depending on where you want to go.
