Categories

Cleanliness
9.2
Multiple reviewers explicitly praise cleanliness (e.g., 'La propreté du lieu est irréprochable', 'clean'); one mention of a sewage issue, but overall cleanliness is reported as very good.
Service
9.4
Service is frequently highlighted as excellent, helpful and hardworking ('staff were excellent', 'staff super-helpful', 'very patient and sympa'); a few isolated reports of unfriendly staff or slow restaurant service, but overall service sentiment is strongly positive.
Location
9.1
Many reviewers praise the central location and walking access to attractions and dining; a minority note it can feel far from some central areas or that the immediate neighborhood can be seedy with homelessness/urine smell—overall location sentiment is very positive but mixed.
Room Quality
8.3
Rooms are often described as comfortable, spacious with great bathrooms and character, but several comments mention small or dark rooms, street-noise and small bathrooms in some units.
Amenities
8.7
Rooftop restaurant, pool/bar and characterful public spaces are praised; however filming during some stays limited access to main restaurant and gym, and parking/valet issues were noted.
Value for Money
7.9
Mixed sentiment: some call it 'great value' and 'luxury for a nice price', while others describe the hotel as 'very expensive' and criticize high parking/valet costs—net sentiment below the overall target.
Food and Beverage
9
The roof terrace restaurant and food are explicitly praised ('great food at the roof terrace'); there are occasional service slowdowns and temporary closures due to filming, but overall F&B is well regarded.
Overall Experience
8.8
Overall described as a very good, comfortable hotel with strong positives around staff, location and rooftop amenities; negatives (false fire alarms, neighborhood issues, occasional service/parking problems) moderate the overall experience.

Very nice hotel - does needs some updates
Pros:

Overall the hotel is chic and cool. It is an older building and has a lot of history - which my wife and I enjoyed learning about. I highly recommend staying here. The beds were comfortable and a lot of amenities. We wanted to use the pool, but didn't have the time to.

Cons:

There are some things that need serious updating - including, but not limited to the carpets in the hotel. They are old, and musty - and the building does give off a musty vibe. It didn't feel clean in that sense.

Excellent customer service and beautiful hotel!
Pros:

The design is gorgeous. Loved the furniture, decor, etc. so Instagram-worthy. Lots of different spots to explore from the roof top to the dining room to the cafe. The staff was so friendly and accommodating.

Cons:

There could have been an extra towel bar in the bathroom. And the shower drained slowly.

Pros:

The hotel is in a perfect location in the city centre, with several metro lines just a few minutes’ walk away. We arrived in the morning to leave our luggage, and were pleasantly surprised when we were offered another room on a lower floor that was already available. We really appreciated being able to check in early.

The rooftop pool is beautiful – not really big enough for swimming, but perfect for cooling off and relaxing. The drinks at the bar were excellent, and the staff was very friendly and welcoming.

Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this hotel. 10/10!

Overall is ok…… just I suggest little more attention to frequent customers.
Pros:

Position is ok. Overall is ok. Bar and rooftop are the best part. Valet service is ok. Receptionist are very kind.

Cons:

I had two rooms during my stay, and unfortunately, I had to change one of them because the AC was not working (I understand it happen sometimes)…..but also The hotel bar was closed for an entire day due to a commercial movie production taking place on the property. Despite these inconveniences, I was not offered any discount or compensation, or benefit. Considering that I am a regular customer, I have to say I was little disappointed with the way the situation was handled…..but what to do….
I believe some recognition of the inconvenience would have been appropriate and appreciated especially for a Marriott hotel affiliated .

There was a small issue with the room I'd initially booked not being available, but the staff made sure it's resolved to my satisfaction, which I appreciate
