It was good stay in this hotel. Nice staff. Only problem is no lift to level one, had to carry the luggage.

Old Quarter luxury with friendly staff
Du Palace provides doorstep access to Hanoi’s old quarter, the lake and train street. We were able to walk to most places and I only used a motorbike taxi to visit the military museum which is about 11kms out of town.
It was lovely being able to take a short stroll to the lake of an evening, watching the sunset and the lights come on (as well as the small bats coming out). Earlier in the mornings, we saw people exercising and running dance lessons.
The water puppet theatres are right by the lake as well as the sightseeing hop on/off bus tours.
Du Palace provided a great start to each day with a buffet breakfast and eggs prepared to order.
Our room felt clean and modern, it had a fridge but no tea/coffee station. They provided us water each day and a very affordable laundry service.
The staff were all very friendly, spoke English for us and couldn’t do more to help.
Du Palace is a small (and narrow) hotel easily passed by but we couldn’t recommend it more as a base to use for exploring Hanoi.

На ресепшне один парень весьма фамильярно попросил мой телефон и рылся в почте моего аккаунта букинга, он же , как оказалось, отдал кому-то мной забронированную комнату(поэтому достался номер с ванной и с окном, мне ненужным) - такие ошибки недопустимы, считаю.
В комнате с ванной и с окном с улицы доносится шум кондиционера.
