Fantastic service and excellent facilities
None
We had a great few days here. The room was incredibly quiet, the bed was comfortable, the temperature in the room perfect, we had a couple of fantastic night sleep. We also ate in the restaurant on one night, and again it was very good. Good location with Parking, and about a 20 minute walk into Tenby.
It is a lovely hotel with pleasant rooms and a pool, restaurant and bar on premises. Parking available. Staff couldn’t be more helpful. This is a very comfortable place . It is on a quiet Tenby Street.
Booked before coming on holiday
Liked the dining room/ romantic/ great atmosphere/service
Starters were excellent Tempura prawns
Also asked for Bread /oil .. 2 !!! Slices of bread ( seriously) oil and balsamic was very good at £6,00 nearly not so good
Barramundi fish if the day was OK
My dish was non veg Thali was OK lamb curry was ok the butter chicken was sweet. It certainly was catering for the very bland western palate
It was a long way to try their food . Hotel looked lovely and sitting room waiting for the cab was really nice. Hotel receptionist very kind
Tucked away in a quiet part of Tenby.
Very clean and nicely decorated.
Good size room - we chose an executive room.
A bit pricey but it felt luxurious.
I liked the sliding doors and the patio with a little table.
Very quiet and very comfortable beds.
Very helpful staff.
Pool was a bit crowded on a Saturday morning but nice - also used the sauna.
Would really feel like a holiday staying here.
Some strange other guests but a lovely hotel.
We really enjoyed our three nights at this hotel. Highlights were the quality of the food, and the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff. Location is about 20 minutes walk from the centre. Our premium room was spacious and had a four poster bed. It could have done with a chest of drawers, and the shower room some more shelves for toiletries. The aircon was great. The spa facilities were good, we especially liked the outdoor hot tub. The sauna was infra-red and not as hot as most. The pool was small, but clean and there is a booking system to ensure it does not get crowded.
The hotel looks ok over all but deteriorating.
Deteriorated spa, staff at the desk not very friendly, we actually got told of for staying 2min over in the spa area after it supposedly closed, we were having a chat ready to leave and the woman at the desk decided she needed to express her unhappiness that we were still in that area… the food was no where near what it’s supposed to look like and taste like but it’s very expensive… we actually complained about the starter and in stead of fully taking the price off they gave us half of price discount…
First class service, all staff friendly and keen to help. Large bright room with it's own patio and easy access to the spa facilities. Good food. Would definitely recommend, we had a fantastic week.
Lovely location and nice staff. Good breakfast
Mattress was tired and not v comfy. Could do with upgrade. Charging additional £8 for parking is unacceptable and petty. Won’t stay again as a result (even though it was waived as we parked elsewhere as chargers full). It’s a principal thing.
We’ve just stayed for 2nights to celebrate our anniversary. The hotel was just outside Tenby, our room was clean and comfortable everything you need is provided, iron hairdryer, safe tea coffee etc, we had air conditioning which in this weather was fab. Our room had a shower over bath which we are not a fan of. The towels were so white and soft.
The spa was nice a small but deep indoor pool with a nice area to lounge also an outdoor hot tub conservatory bar service. Didn’t have any spa treatments but lots were available.
We ate at their restaurant both nights and the food was amazing both nights a great variety of Indian/thai inspired dishes. We loved it, breakfast was also good with plenty of choice available.
The staff were all so lovely very polite and welcoming.
We got a taxi into Tenby (about £5 each way) to avoid the bother of parking
Really enjoyed our stay, some things at the hotel were a bit pricey eg small cappuccino £5.40.
Also it felt a bit off being charged £8 per day to park the car when spending a lot on the hotel, direct bookings didn’t pay this surcharge but if booked via booking.com you had to pay, it just didn’t feel welcoming to be told this, especially as we would not have found the hotel if we hadn’t booked on booking.com
We really enjoyed our visit to the Heywood Spa.
The staff were professional and polite and extremely helpful and above all friendly.
The bed was very comfortable and the room was spacious and enjoyed the spa facilities.
We ate dinner here on the first night and they held the closing time of the kitchen which was very kind as we had a horrendous journey from Devon.
There were however a couple of points that would help to improve the overall experience.
Our room was a bit dark and situated by reception and the soundproofing wasn't brilliant.
The shower water pressure was also very low which I wouldn't have expected given the price that we paid. I also had to report a sticky bedside table which was apparently the varnish.
On the whole the breakfasts were great but could be improved by not scrambling the eggs in a microwave, the poached were perfect!
It would have been good to know up front that balconies were available for superior rooms. We didn't spot this and would have probably paid the higher price had we known.
We came away with a positive view, but attention to these points would have made it fantastic.
Nicely decorated and furnished, good facilities such as pool whirlpools etc
Indoor jacuzzi not working properly, but not too much of a problem
Grosse Zimmer. Professionelles, nettes Personal
Distanz zur Stadt
As seasoned travellers across the globe we found this little piece of paradise just outside Tenby in South Wales. We are currently staying here for 5 days. Staff attention to detail is faultless and they can't do enough to make your stay relaxing and enjoyable. Food in the restaurant is outstanding the best we have had anywhere in the world. Looking forward to the next few days and already planning our next stay. Thank you to all the wonderful staff there.
The room was perfect, Spotlessly clean. The breakfast was included in the price with lots of options we had a cooked breakfast which was very tasty. We had a meal there on a couple of evenings and thoroughly enjoyed. An exceptional hotel!
There was nothing that we didn't like
Quiet and clean. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. Excellent restaurant and food.
