Pros:

Amazing location and resort! So peaceful, you won't want to leave. We only left to take the resorts car to additional hiking locations. We will be back!

Enchanting Stay @ Enchantment
Pros:

There's something enchanting about Enchantment. Maybe it's the Vortex with Mother Earth or just a wonderfully trained and prepared staff, but pamper doesn't begin to describe how we were treated.

Relaxing time
Pros:

Resort was relaxing, views were beautiful and the service was outstanding. We enjoyed the resort for being outside the traffic of downtown Sedona. I would recommend this resort to anyone wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Disappointment
Pros:

When it comes to real estate, location is everything. The Enchantment Resort is second to none for location, but that is where it ends. When my wife and I left the resort we were ask to fill out a survey which we did and never heard back. Never hearing back is typical for many resorts and hotels, but some of the issues were over the top. Trying to relax on the deck at the end of the day was very difficult when you have a pool filter running 24/7 ten feet from your location. Across the lawn from our deck was a dumpster and a port-a-potty that we looked at all week. Location is usually everything, but our particular location really stunk.

Beautiful resort but not meant for couples, but great for families
Pros:

My wife and I booked a two night stay at the Enchantment.

The good:
The staff at the restaurant & pool were fantastic.
The restaurants were amazing. Excellent food & views!
There were a couple nice hikes adjacent to the hotel.

The “not so good”
The check-in staff were average at best. There was no effort to explain the restaurants & no questioning if we needed reservations for the restaurants or activities.
The hotel markets itself as a quiet, secluded resort. The place was full of children in the swimming pool screaming & playing Marco Polo all day.
There is an adult pool, but it’s the size of a large hot tub with no views and no food and beverage service.

If we had a young family to take on holiday this resort would be amazing.

As far as a resort for a couples to go and relax and unwind we would give it a hard pass.

Night staff was condesending dismissive, rude, threatening, and mean
Pros:

Away from amenities when you need them the parade as a five star diamond hotel but they have the flare of a motel 6 in a nice location with trashy staff late night the day staff was nice night is without class and no alcohol or Roomsevice after a time and the spa is not apart of the hotel so definitely not a 5 star boardering on 4 a 3 star would be an expectation at least I would have been impressed

Decor is from the movie shinning I feel like Jack Nickerson is at my door with an axe going to kill me in my sleep

The time vortex
Pros:

Great location and beautiful scenery but don't go if you care about time or prompt service. The grounds are huge so you will be walking or waiting for a golf cart. The restaurant serve bad wedding food very slowly. I recommend bringing Carne Asda to cook on the grill that they include in the suite.

Almost perfect
Pros:

An amazing resort. Everything was wonderful, especially the staff, which goes above and beyond. The reason I deducted a star from my rating is because Enchantment shows pettiness and bad faith by hitting its guests with a large "Resort Fee" that is not well-disclosed before booking. Why not just include it in the nightly fees? It's a bad look for an amazing resort.

Poor customer service
Pros:

The resort was nice and our visit was good. However, after we left, I realized I had left a favorite blouse in the closet. I contacted them repeatedly via phone and email, to no avail. There was no resolution or attempt to return the blouse to me, even after I offered to cover the cost. I was very disappointed with their customer service and their housekeeping department.

The views!!!
Pros:

Everything was amazing during our stay at Enchantment. The views were breathtaking everywhere you looked. We explored the beautiful Boynton Canyon from the resort. The dinners we ate on site were very good. The pool was lovely, all the more because of the views. And the accommodations and service was perfect. An overall very relaxing vacation.

Arizona Paradise
Pros:

This is the nicesest resort you will find located in the middle of paradise. The facility was immaculate, grounds were pristine, staff was beyond attentive and the food at the restaurants was over the top. We will return for sure.

Enchantment Resort
Pros:

Great location, especially if you're into hiking and outdoor activities. Very quiet and peaceful. Food and service at Che Ah Chi was exceptional.

Food and service at Tii Gavo was mediocre. Seemed as if they were understaffed. Poolside service was inconsistent and during peak times, pool chairs were limited and may require you to wait until chairs become available.

Prime location, but the rest is subpar
Pros:

I am shocked at the price that I paid for a room that overlooked the parking lot and had a broken shower head that squirted to the sides and flooded the bathroom floor. The hotel was aware of the problem because the shower head had been torqued against the back side wall.

It would have been nice if Enchantment had used the money that the previous guest had paid for that room, to buy a new shower head.

It was a very disappointing stay and inconsiderate since Enchantment is part of the Relais & Châteaux Luxury Hotels. In reality, Enchantment is far from par.

This resort is living on past glory - disappointing stay
Pros:

We stayed at Enchantment for 3 nights and overall a very much below average stay. First the positive - their location, right at the Boynton canyon is really good with very convenient hikes to the canyon and kachina vortex. The room had a queen size bed (its been a few decades since I have stayed in a luxury property where the bed for a couple was queen/small). Also this was not a real bed - but a murphy bed - with no headboard to rest against - and overall, very uncomfortable for 2 people to sleep on - perhaps ok in a motel, but when you are paying $1200+ per night, this is not what you expect. We did have a nice view of the canyon from our room though. We at at all three of their restaurants - The food and service at Che Ah Chi was good, Tii Gavo was barely average (excellent views though), and finally Hummingbird, their signature restaurant was a complete let down in terms of food and service. The service at the morning breakfast (we had 3 breakfasts there, all at Che Ah Chi) ranged for attentive/good to the waitress completely messing up our order and bringing my food almost 15 mins after my wife was done eating. We signed up for a few classes, and they were all average to below average - with the one exception of a Culinary/Cooking demo by Chef Dana and Chef Glen - they were both really fun and engaging and deserve 5 stars. My wife went to their Miiamo spa for a massage - and while they claim to be a world-famous spa, they did not have a plunge-pool at the spa. The rest of the facilities were clean and nice and the massage itself was fine - but nothing that you would not find at a decent Marriott/Hilton or similar hotels. This was probably a luxury property/room maybe a decade ago, but at this point it is living on past glory. If we ever go back to Sedona, we will hunt for a different property - and not stay here again.

Beautiful Resort, but Check-in was a disaster
Pros:

Enchantment is beatiful. Casitas are lovely, and clean. But Check-in experience is a disaster. Got to the room 3 hours late. Seemed like no one was able to access their room on time. Dampened the entire experience. Once in the room, the experience was great.

Not as Enchanting as expected
Pros:

Enchanment has beautiful surrondings but the rooms are dated. This is suppose to be a 4 star hotel and it needs to take a page from the Four Seasons playbook on how to deliver on that experince. Our experince was substandard from check-in taking a long time with a line of people and only 2 staff to check everyone in. Dinners that took a long time to serve and running out of food. i kept hoping that it would get better but we were truly jinxed and from the current reviews i saw this has been going on alot this year.
