Pros:

Great stay as always, very clean and lovely staff

Cons:

Bit confused if the bar in the Indian restaurant side could be used for just having a beer, wine etc and taking outside into the big beer garden at the back, we didn't see anyone outside and assumed there was a bit of a refurbishment going on.

Excellent value for money
Pros:

Great shower, bed good, spotless, fan left in room, free parking and excellent Indian restaurant underneath

Cons:

A king bed just would have given it 10/10

The good, the not so good, and the number twos.
Pros:

We stayed in the back room as we know the front rooms can be noisy with the road. We had an Indian meal two nights and both were very flavoursome.

Cons:

We realise that it is dog friendly and that is fine however when we are in the beer garden we don't appreciate owner's dogs doing their number twos in the same area. It was extremely unpleasant. We think that a separate area in the fast corner of the car park would be better for all.

The shower faucet needs to be improved. The temperature was VERY difficult to regulate and a child could easily be scalded with how difficult it was to regulate the temperature.

Over priced and sub standard.
Pros:

Not much

Cons:

The room was very small and extremely hot. I do appreciate it was a heatwave but the small fan we had been provided with was caked in black dust. Nobody had even bothered to wipe it down. It was so awful that we checked out before midnight and went home.

Good hotel, nice helpful staff but a few things to be sorted out.
Pros:

It was located in countryside, close to the Chester park and ride. The rooms were spacious and ours was a triple room. The hotel was fully booked each night so we were lucky we had booked in advance. There was a big parking area and a beer garden

Cons:

The hotel had recently changed hands and the new owners had a good Indian food menu, but beer suppliers had yet to be sorted and only one warm draft beer was available. Luckily the Cheshire Cat down the road a mile had everything!

Good for those travelling by car but not the best spot to stay during a heat wave.
Pros:

Friendly staff, attractive decor, good wifi. Handy convenience store at the gas station next door.

Cons:

We were there during a heat spell and our room was on the top floor so it was very warm and the provided fan was too small. We were also only given one bath towel and one mid size towel for the two of us. It was also in a very busy location on the side of a very busy road. The back garden was quite plain. I’m sure for people driving it would be good with plenty of free parking.
