The location was ideal for my needs. Clean, comfortable bed. Lovely, helpful staff. Ample parking
I thought the price of the room was expensive, given how small it was. The hotel is next to a very busy road, the traffic noise didn't disturb me, what did disturb me was the noise from people walking up and down the stairs (maybe carpet would help). The bedroom doors could do with soft close features, hearing them bang everytime someone came in and out wasn't the best. Lastly the lack of water pressure, it dribbles out the tap and you can just about get a shower.
A personal door opening welcome! Thank you. Truly excellent food at restaurant! Well beyond all other aspects…
No investment. Minimal spend on making rooms good. Minimal
Easy to find. Clean , well presented.
Lovely food in the restaurant
Nothing
Smallest room we have ever seen for a couple plus dog. Absolutely no storage, no window, tiny bathroom, dirty shower, road noise, breakfast was worse ever.
None of the facilities or services available as per website and Bookgings.com.
Staff "training " but supervisors not evident.
Rating on website obviously based on previous owners and facilities. MUST BE UPDATED IMMEDIATELY, FALSE ADVERTISING
The staff are exceptional, nothing is too much trouble. The manager (Simon) and the cleaner Rachel have gone above and beyond.
Nothing
The room was lovely in itself. It was spacious and had all the condiments needed. The view was beautiful as we could see the grounds and the horses and other wildlife. There was also a wide variety of tv to enjoy on a nice big screen
seeing as the weather had let us down for the evening
After previously staying here earlier in the year and enjoying the hotels gastro pub experience we we're disappointed to see that it has now changed hands and is an Indian restaurant which meant the we had to go off site to eat both evening meal and for breakfast the next morning. This was disappointing as it is still advertised as the previous property which it is not
The bathroom could also have been cleaner as the bath was all marked and the shower screen had a broken unattached seal which was filled with dirt and the toilet didn't flush properly
Staff was amazing, food was nice, defo will be staying again
Internet was abit poor
Location
