Definitely need more people who are not afraid to speak up when something is being done against all

Staff was helpful and pleasant

Cons:

The air was not working well in my room. NO ICE anywhere but 7th floor. We didnt find out until the last night there. No attempt of stopping the weed smoking in the halls and elevators

The AC unit in the room sounded like a freight train. The mattress could use a topper to make it more comfortable for sleeping.

Daily housekeeping services, excellent cleanliness, very comfortable bed and beddings

Cons:

One of the two elevators broke and there was no active solution in p lace when guests would stand 5-10 min waiting for an elevator EXCEPT when someone complained then they would make the sister facility elevators available.. I missed an arranged ride despite taking the fire-stairs down with my limited mobility

Very relaxing, greeted by everyone.
Pros:

Room was very clean, large. Everyone was very nice, polite, asked us if we needed any assistance. The staff was very welcoming, even the employees out front we didn’t use their assistance but they still acknowledged us. You don’t get that very often when you go anywhere.

Cons:

The room was really warm, we turned then ac as low (68) as we could and it still was very warm.

The stay was nice but I highly inconvenienced with the parking situation.
Pros:

The staff were friendly and the hotel was super clean and quiet. I like the privacy policy & only having access to the floor I was staying on, breakfast area, the pool area, and the washing/ gym area

Cons:

The parking situation was terrible I feel that a parking structure should be built for staying guess. No way parking is $62 a day that’s extreme and very costly after paying $800 for my room including a $225 holding fee.

excited to get there, disappointed once there, and happy to leave, won't stay there again.
Pros:

Breakfast was average, similar to what you would get at a Hampton inn not in a location like this and at a lower price. Swimming pool was average. location above average.

Cons:

Staff seemed to be unattentive. The pantry costs were ridiculous, just let people know there is a market next door that they can get things from for 85% less than you are charging. Seemed like your policies just were slow, had many people at the pantry and someone bought wine, everyone had to wait for someone from the front desk to do an id check. just took forever. Why are there no microwaves in the rooms? No utensils in the pantry? Just things like this that made it more difficult to stay there.

Past 10pm there was barely any staff to check you in; was very unorganized due to a large group of people trying to check in and do other things. I didn’t know where the line started so people was cutting…

Friendly People of The Windy City
Pros:

We stayed at Home2 Suites McCormick Place for a week and were greeted by friendly faces throughout our stay. The entire staff was welcoming and made us feel at home.

The breakfast staff was especially outstanding. Cathy and Ashley Chen were spectacular! They were incredibly kind to our kids, always greeted us with a smile, and took the time to recommend places to visit while we were in Chicago. Their genuine hospitality made our mornings even more enjoyable and left a lasting impression on our family.

Thank you to the entire team for making our stay such a pleasant experience. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Chicago.
