Would not stay again. Love Portland location.
Pros:

Helpful staff. Comfortable room.

Cons:

We expected a lot more for a $500 room, including a much better view and not a parking garage.

We appreciated the great location, but were incredibly disappointed to have no natural light.
Pros:

The location is fantastic! It was easy to use public transport and get to all the tourist destinations. The room was large and well appointed.

Cons:

Our room had no natural sunlight since the windows were about 10 feet from the multi-level parking garage next store. We asked to move rooms several times but were denied. If you can’t book a city view, I wouldn’t stay here.

Fab location, rooms and rooftop bar
Pros:

Amazing location with beautiful rooms and rooftop bar. Stayed here 3 days for work and felt right at home. Valet service was also incredibly convenient through their app as car would be waiting for you. The breakfast at Cinder and Salt was fab too (albeit pricey).

Not impressed
Pros:

Pre cruise overnight stay. 2 rooms for family. I room and both beds made with stained sheets. Housekeeping remade 1 bed. I found the area to be unsafe, I fell on the uneven pavement and lots of homeless addicts around, swearing and yelling about Trump. Most businesses and restaurants around the hotel are closed. Very overpriced all things considered would never stay here again.

Great Location
Pros:

I stayed at this hotel the night before I left for my Alaskan cruise. The staff was exceptional. The hotel is very clean. The room rooms are very nice. We even got an early check-in, Hotel is in the best location to go down to the market and to the train, they set up transportation to the cruise port. The bar on the top level is beautiful with great drinks.
My only complaint is they didn’t add my Hilton Honors points to my reservation
I did contact Hilton directly, and I eventually did get the points. it was kind of a hassle for me to get the points cause I had to find my folio and all my confirmation and all that but all worked out. I would stay here again if I ever go to Seattle.

This Hotel is an excellent value
Pros:

We had a good stay at this hotel The rooms are large and quite comfortable. The bathroom is spacious with excellent water pressure. The beds are comfortable but in soft side. The Salt and Cinder restaurant was great for lunch. The burger and lobster roll thst we had were outstanding. However we ran into a glitch here. On all the printed materials breakfast was supposed to be served until 11:30. We arrived at 11 and were told the hours had changed and breakfast was only served until 11. Hmmm we relayed this to the front desk and they had not been notified.
The location cannot be beat, you are two blocks from Pike Marketplace and the waterfront. We liked it here so much that we are returning after our cruise. We will check breakfast times when we arrive. We have stayed in Seattle several times and feel this hotel is an excellent value.

Loved our visit here!!
Pros:

The location couldn't have been better. It was 2 clocks from the market and restaurants, and under a mile walk to the Space Needle and the pier where we boarded for our whale watching tour.
The room was beautiful, luxurious and spacious....and perfectly quiet. We slept so soundly!
Staff was fantastic, especially Scott(?) Who made our furry family member so welcome. He had treats for her every time she went outside and she loved him.
Finally the restaurant was a wonderful surprise. We loved our food and our server, Alex, made it a fun experience. He was knowledgeable about the food AND the city. The chocolate pot de creme was so good but the cheesecake was the best we've ever had!!!! The pastry chef here is top notch!

Cons:

Nothing!!

Convenient, Comfortable, and Worth Returning To
Pros:

Our stay at The Charter Hotel Seattle, Curio Collection by Hilton was wonderful overall. We stayed here for four nights at the beginning of our trip and enjoyed it so much that we returned for another night at the end of our two-week Washington vacation.

One of the biggest reasons we chose this hotel was its location. It’s within walking distance of Pike Place Market, the waterfront and Pier area, and only about a 3–5 minute walk from the monorail station, making it convenient to visit the Space Needle and other attractions.

Breakfast at Cinder + Salt was delicious every morning. One tip for future guests: gratuity is already included on the bill. My husband didn’t notice and accidentally left an extra tip, so our server definitely had a great morning! 😊

One unexpected highlight of our stay was the complimentary steam room and sauna. They were surprisingly quiet—we had them completely to ourselves every time we visited. It was the perfect way to unwind after spending the day exploring the city.

I’d also like to recognize one of the housekeeping attendants whose name I unfortunately didn’t catch. I asked if there was a place to refill our water bottles, and she pointed us to the water fountain near the gym. Since we didn’t have our bottles with us, she thoughtfully came back a few minutes later with two bottled waters…great customer service!

The only disappointing experience occurred on our second to last day. I had placed the “Privacy Please” sign on the door while I was taking a shower. As I was getting ready, I heard someone slide a “Sorry We Missed You” card under the door. I quickly opened the door and saw the housekeeping attendant walking away. I apologized and explained that I had been in the shower, then asked if we could have some toilet paper since we had run out. She simply responded, “No,” pointed to her housekeeping chart, and continued down the hallway. It seemed there may have been a language barrier, but the interaction was still disappointing. We had to call the front desk to have it delivered to our room.

Despite that minor issue, our overall experience was excellent. The location was great, the rooms were comfortable, the breakfast was consistently good, and amenities like the steam room and sauna made our stay even more enjoyable. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again the next time we’re in Seattle.
