My child forgot her childhood pillow at the hotel when we checked out. The staff at the hotel was very kind to find the pillow for us and had it mailed to us. Much appreciated.
The hotel is okay inside (3 stars max), but most rooms up to the 12th floor have their views blocked by adjacent buildings. Only the top three floors offer good views, yet those rooms are nearly impossible to book or switch into. Staff simply deflect with “we’re fully booked.”
The lack of transparency and flexibility is disappointing. I won’t book here again.
The thermostat did not work in our room the first night it was 78°. The person at the front desk was rude and dismissive. The next morning one of the managers, Mallory told us we would be refunded for our first night. We did not ask she offered now we are being told we will not be refunded.
This is the worst experience I have had in Seattle. I have confirmation of a corner room with 2 queen beds. I get here and my view is a parking lot. Literally. I paid for a really nice room with a view. I have the confirmation, even though no they say they don’t have 2 queens in those rooms. Also, came in the room and it was 78 degrees! I immediately lowered the thermostat as much as it would go. Even though the room was not even close to my expectations or what I paid for, I wasn’t going to make a big deal. We went to dinner and were gone for a couple of hours, came back and the room is at 77!!!!! It’s soooo hot! DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. No one will answer the phone when you try to get any help. This place is awful.
Disappointing after the reviews. I checked into room on app then told when actually checked in the app doesn't always work. Room was expensive and a lot of fees and charges and our view was about 2 feet away from cars in parking garage, could not even open shades. The amenities were low. Ice only on floors 9 and above. It was a special trip from the East coast with my sons and wanted to spend extra for somewhere nice. The location is perfect but otherwise not worth the money. Room was clean but creamer was curdled.
Thank you for the hospitality and intentionality
Front desk staff and Valet excellent
On arrival (paying top dollar during World Cup) was allocated a room that had no outlook (wall to carpark)
I had to ask to be relocated to a similar room 4 floors up with a city view but had wait 24 hrs
Muy bien ubicado!
Super limpio y cómodo
Nada
Staff attentiveness and location were ideal!
The friendly staff, location and beautiful room.
Was a little expensive
We arrived at the front desk at 1am. We went to check in and after looking at my ID, we were told to wait a few minutes. The person working the front desk then literally left the building. Yup, grabbed her bag and walked out.
We were told by another couple sitting in the reception area that the lady that had just left had told them that the hotel was overbooked. McKenzie(sp) the valet then came to the desk and us and the other couple informed him that the front desk worker had taken her bag and left. McKenzie contacted the manager and told us that she would be on site in 20 minutes.
An hour later, the manager arrived. She assisted the couple waiting before us then assisted us. A verbal apology was given. However, while the room is nice except for a raisin on the bed that housekeeping staff didn’t see and stains on the bathroom wall, the placement on the 4th floor was horrendous. Opened the curtains to a beautiful view of a parking structure. On top of this, nothing else was offered for the hour long wait to check in. $25 resort fee waived? NOPE!! Complimentary meal at the restaurant offered? NOPE!! Oh wait, I did get a $25 discount at the restaurant to offset the resort fee…EVERYONE gets this offer upon check in.
I have 2 more nights left to stay here on this trip and if it weren’t for the fact that the hotel is close to the one my daughter is staying at, I would’ve gone somewhere else. Hopefully my daughter’s surprise engagement goes better than our experience at this hotel.
We traveled to Seattle for the FIFA World Cup and booked our stay through the American Express Platinum Hotel Collection for approximately $895.46 for two nights.
Upon arrival, we were greeted promptly. However, despite my requests—and my status as an Amex Platinum and Hilton Gold member—I was unable to secure a room upgrade or the requested top-floor room with a view due to 'lack of availability.' Shae checked us into a room on the 7th floor, but upon entering, we discovered a dirty pillowcase left on the table.
We were told to head back down to the front desk to get a new key, only to be moved to a room on the 6th floor—essentially a downgrade. The view from both rooms was limited to a garage and a side street.
Will I stay here again? Absolutely not. After discovering a dirty pillowcase, I expected the hotel to prioritize providing a significantly better room, yet they simply placed us on a lower floor. As an IHG Platinum member, I consistently receive better treatment and upgrades than I experienced here.
While this hotel is conveniently located near Pike Place Market, I will definitely read guest reviews before booking through the Amex Platinum Hotel Collection again.
Very clean. Nice room. Love the modern vibe.
They seemed a little understaffed with valet, front desk, and the restaurant.
Laney, Cevest AKA Chtnies and McKenzie have really made my valet experiences great there. Appreciate your kindness and cheerfulness every time I am in Seattle!
