Beside the room change and toilet and ac noise I would stay again
Pros:

Cleanliness and staff were amazing

Cons:

Had to switch rooms because the refrigerator was frozen and got a small room then what we initially had. The toilet kept running and when the ac kicked on it was so loud

Dirty-dirty q-tip on the dirty bathroom floor. Paper plate was left from previous guest. Bed was not comfortable.

Room needs some fixes
Pros:

We stay at Holiday Inn Express often. In this room we had an air conditioner that was EXTREMELY loud, the shower was very hot and couldn't adjust the temperature. Staff was nice though.

Comfy but quirky
Pros:

It was pretty well designed, the rooms were lovely, the lobby is very comfortable and the pool was a nice temp!

Cons:

It seemed like anything electrical didn’t work. The elevator passed over our floor a couple of times. Our room Tv was broken, as was the lobby tv, breakfast area coffee maker, pancake machine, and the hotel’s second elevator.

Pros:

Mattress was comfortable.

Cons:

Peeling paint in the bathroom, a constant buzz sound we couldn't locate, the outlet between the beds did not hold a plug, the breakfast would have been acceptable if the pancake machine worked, and the room smelled like wet dog.

Staff should have called customer before dissapearing with suitcases and loose items in room. Also, receptionist evicted a customer over something that particular customer had not done. Won’t ever stay in this hotel again.

Beware of a 30 day incidental hold
Pros:

For your information: this hotel holds a 100 incidental hold on your account for 30 days. They tell you it falls off in 3 to 5 business days but it certainly does not. I suggest staying somewhere else unless you are ok with that. Also, don’t scan the bar code to pre check in at the hotel, they will run your credit card again and hold another 100 dollars for 30 days. Otherwise, the hotel itself isn’t bad. The beds were comfortable, the rooms clean and the front desk clerks were friendly. The elevator sounds horrible and it feels like it’s about to fall apart at any minute, probably take the stairs if that gives you anxiety. Overall, I suggest staying somewhere else. It’s not worth it. Don’t even bother calling to complain about the hold because the gm is not going to take your calls.

Breakfast food was hot and fresh. Staff was friendly and polite. No issues with the staff or food whatsoever.

Cons:

Size of bed but it is not their fault. Just have a lot of kids. There wasn’t anything we really didn’t like.
