A charming and comfortable hotel in a perfect Amsterdam location.
Pros:

We loved everything about our stay. The hotel is beautiful, charming and very well located in the Jordaan, close to lovely canals, shops and restaurants. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet, and the staff was very kind and helpful. It was a perfect base to enjoy Amsterdam.

I loved it so much that after recommending it to my sister, she’ll be staying there on her upcoming trip.
Pros:

I stayed here on a solo trip to Amsterdam and I felt right at home. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the boutique style made me feel like a local coming home to my apartment. The property was clean and very well located in Jordaan.

Hot water tap need to be repaired very hard to turn on, this was repaired promptly by the maintenance man the next day - no toaster as it was broken ?

Central location, comfortable beds, and hospitable staff.
Pros:

Hôtel was in a central location in Amsterdam amidst plenty of restaurants, small shops, and cafes. Th staff was hospitable and kind. The deluxe room was clean, spacious, and had a lovely view of the garden courtyard. Would highly recommend Hotel Mercier, and we plan to stay at the property again for future trips!

Superbe emplacement, très cocooning, anticipez votre programme
Pros:

L’emplacement, le style, la chambre était spacieuse et bien équipée avec frigo musique et café
Petit dej super et serveur et cuisinier super sympa le matin

Cons:

La bar n’est pas si grandiose que le reste, ni convivial, c’est cher et pas si génial
Le resto il faut oublier après 20:30, même client de l’hôtel à 20:50 on n’entre plus… dommage, nous n’avons donc pas d’avis

La situation géographique de l’hôtel proche du centre, la chambre très grande et calme avec wc séparé de la salle de bain. Petit déjeuner diversifié international avec préparation spécifique à la demande sur place (omelette, gaufre, crêpe)

Cons:

persoonel ne parlant qu'anglais ou nééerlandais :)

It is comfy, close to the main attractions and central train station , and far from the tourists mess.
