Exceeded our expectations
Pros:

We had a lovely stay at M's Hotel. The room exceeded our expectations: it was more spacious than most in Japan, amenities were plenty and the beds were very comfortable. Super silent environment, and it was always very clean. The hotel is a 5-minute walk away from Kyoto's central station, so it’s perfect to move around the city and surrounding area (Uji, Nara, Osaka).
