Find something else. This can not be what it once was. Like this it would not have survived its history.
Pros:

When finally installed it has a central location, but that is mostly it.

Cons:

I had booked parking in the courtyard, but I did not know that the hotel practically closed at 6.00 pm, so arrival later could not make the parking. We came to a shut down place where you have to lock yourself in to a building with a backstairs to rooms. No people, no service, no drinks. Very disappointing. Will for sure not choose this hotel again. Quite difficult to get to by car and then have to exit to find the public car park in town as the alternative. Breakfast was very thin. You felt that you were emptying the trays with everything you helped yourself to and it was only 09.00 o’clock. Bed was ok, room ok, bathroom ok but very small. We hoped for a charming old style German gasthaus, but came to a deserted and low rate B&B. Avoid!

Beim nächsten Bamberg Besuch gerne wieder
Pros:

Sehr zentral, überaus freundliche Mitarbeiter Service und Zimmerservice

Cons:

Für die hohen Temperaturen konnte niemand etwas. Für die Zukunft wäre die Überlegung und Investition wert in jedem Zimmer einen Ventilator bereitzustellen. Notfalls gegen eine Gebühr.

Great location but expensive and poor service
Pros:

Great central location, room was a good size. We could park our car.

Cons:

Staff weren’t very helpful. Had to make two trips to carry our luggage upstairs whilst two young people were on reception and didn’t offer to help. It was extremely hot, no fans.. other places moved us to a cooler room but they didn’t even try to help. No fridge, no tea/coffee as we expected but for the price it should have everything! No one manning reception/bar after 6 so no possibility of getting a cold drink. Two bottles of water placed in the room but you had to pay extra if you used them. Bathroom was very small. This was the most expensive room we have stayed in so far on our trip and was very disappointing.

Pros:

The hotel is in a pedestrianised area close to the bus station, touristy spots and some lovely brewpubs. The staff were very helpful, and the breakfast was comprehensive.

Cons:

I was on the third floor, and the hotel has no lift. There are no staff on the premises after about 6pm.

Nettes Hotel mit Schwächen
Pros:

Sehr gute Lage in der Fußgängerzone. Zimmer sehr sauber, Personal ausgesprochen freundlich. Das Frühstück ist erstklassig.

Cons:

Etwas in die Jahre gekommenes Hotel. Nicht barrierefrei. Kein Aufzug. Bad mit Dusche und Toilette sehr klein. Duschtasse extrem rutschig, sehr gefährlich. Nur 2 Parkplätze im Innenhof, ansonsten muss man in öffentlichen Parkhäusern für mindestens 18,-€ /Tag parken und die Koffer durch die Fußgängerzone tragen / ziehen. Starke Geräuschbelästigung im Zimmer zur Keßlerstraße, am Wochenende bis 04.00 Uhr morgens, durch Betrunkene auf dem Weg zu ihrem Hotel.

Old world charm with good, clean, spacious rooms in a great location to the old city.
Pros:

Very friendly staff. Great location.

Cons:

There is no elevator. The staff helped us with our luggage but people with mobility issues will not be happy here.
