What a beautiful hotel together with kind and friendly staff in a great location. What more could you ask for. We loved this hotel!
We were slightly surprised that they wouldn’t accommodate our request for an extra hour at checkout (11am) after staying eleven nights. We do understand the hotel is busy however the check in time is 3pm which should still give them ample time to clean a room.

Everyone at the reception was very polite and attentive especially Teressa with her big smile and of course Yuki that made the most in order to help us. We are extremely happy with our choice, will tell our friends about this perfect hotel and of course if we come back to Kyoto will book again. The room was extremely clean, had all the amenities and the washroom was excellent. Thanks again everyone and especially the manager of this hotel for the surprise that was waiting for us.

It’s clean and bed was comfy
It was such a bizarre experience. Really weird staff, dark room. It was so unpleasant that I left after 2 nights even if I booked for 7 nights unrefundable because I wanted to have a good time in Kyoto with a limited time of vacation.

The breakfast was not appropriate, as presented at the Booking.com website. it cost 18 euro per person, had specific items, very limited portions. BUT most importantly, the breakfast missed cheese, salami, and the selection of fruits, as presented in the hotel website. And when we complained, the hotel replaces the ''breakfast image'' with a simple ''tea image'', mentioning as ‘’continental breakfast’’. They serve half kiwi and 1 slice of orange fruit, this is inappropriate to cheat customers like that. the below picture that we booked the room, has nothing to do with the breakfast we recieved....
Great establishment. We are very pleased with our stay, by far the best accommodation we enjoyed on our Japan trip. Spacious rooms, comfortable beds and great service.

The hotel is just perfect. The calm, the location, the rooms, the showers !!! The stuff are very kind.
Just excellent restful stay. Which was much appreciated in 36+ degrees hot sauna of Kyoto
The only small point to make is the breakfast.
It is a fixed menu which is brought to the room, with few different items. Would be better if there was a "menu" to select from items according to your preference. For example I don't eat sweet things in the morning, so for me half the breakfast was no use
That said, after the first morning I asked the very kind stuff to modify the breakfast for me and they did. Very kind!
L’emplacement très bien pour de déplacer accès au métro et bus facilement. Chambre grande et confortable. Le personnel très serviable et sympathique. Un petit mot d’accueil personnalisé nous attendait dans la chambre à notre arrivée c’était agréable.
La climatisation un peu bruyante la nuit mais rien de bien méchant
The bedroom and the bathroom are exceptionnaly spacious and confortables. The staff speak english and is helpful.
The breakfast is occidental and correct .

Really nice and spacious hotel room. Very comfortable bed. Heaps of room for large luggage bags to be opened. We especially loved the bathroom, such a nice shower with sit down bench and bath. Location is good, short walk to two stations on the Karasuma line, Nishiki market and not too far from Pontocho alley/Gion by foot. Would highly recommend for the price we paid.
Nothing really, all good. We had the breakfast included which was great to have that option, and they do kind of give you a sprinkle of every breakfast option on a platter. Its not the greatest but when its included, it is a good option as we found very few cafes open for breakfast (7-8am) in Kyoto.
I absolutely recommend this hotel! I would definitely come back. Service is great, super nice room. Bathroom and the most comfortable beds I had in Japan. Thank you so much!
