Location
Facilities or lack of them. Only one member of staff. No evening meals due to no chef employee
Very Good
Bathroom a walk in shower preferably
Booked for 33rd wedding anniversary which I informed Hotel about , would have been nice to receive bottle of something or chocolates on arrival as per online photos especially as informed Hotel and would gladly have paid extra. Location of Hotel excellent and great to overlook the green. We paid over £253 for their top suite which although expensive seemed fair for the location and inclusive of breakfast. The suite was excellent and had everything we needed. Very homely cozy and home from home. Only constructive criticism..rear garden was very unkempt and unusable and overgrown , the rear entrance we used was very messy with smelly bins and an old kitchen grill on floor to greet us. No criticism with room accommodation however the breakfast was a let down. Even though we prebooked night before and had a specific time ..the order we requested wasn't followed through..breakfast seemed understaffed, over rated and a miss mash. Bacon was under cooked and fatty and sausages were bland and again undercooked , we asked for both to be overcooked and crispy. The standard of our breakfast did not match the grade of the accommodation. We will return in the same room but will have a lot better breakfast across the road at Copper Kettle .
Breakfast
A beautiful hotel in a beautiful setting overlooking the centre of the village of Reeth. Amazing decor and furnishings, super garden, excellent breakfast and friendly helpful staff. Highly recommended!
A tiny thing...the tv was very small so not possible to watch Grand Prix highlights from bed BUT I totally understand that a big tv would have spoiled the look of the room!
Location was ideal
Parking on site was available
Bed was very comfortable
Significant issue with plumbing in the bathroom
Everytime the toilet flushed a terrible smell emanted through the extremely small sink
The shower tray overflowed with the shower water so clearly an ongoing issue which should have either not been let or a reduced rate
The chef couldn't make it in so the restaurant was closed and the bar closed at 8pm as there was no food
Great location in the middle of Reeth .We had Comfortable stylish room at the rear which was good given the high tempreatures when we stayed. The owners may need to think about supplying a fan to help keep the befrooms cool.in future.
Excellent staff and great quality food in restaurant.
Bedroom was a lityle too warm.
De ligging en het uitzicht, en dog vriendelijk personeel.
Toilet en douche in de gang. Lichte gordijnen
Initially contact with the hotel excellent as we last minute had to change our dates. The hotel accommodated us and we thank you so much. Upon arrival, we were met by one of the staff and she was so cheerful, so helpful.
The location of this hotel is superb! Our room was superb with just the most amazing view.
Again breakfast absolutely gorgeous with locally sourced produce. An outstanding hotel with very pleasant staff - what more can you ask!

The property was in a fantastic location and the views where stunning
Not there fault but it was very warm in the bedroom at night maybe put a electric fan just in case
Beautifully decorated, beautiful building, very quiet, lovely breakfast
It was all good
Location on the village green, good view from the front. Breakfast was good. Colourful but garish decor throughout (see negatives). Nice lounge. Good seating area outside.
We booked this hotel for the food, unfortunately dinner was unavailable as they'd had to dismiss the head chef for something serious (not told what). Booked a twin room but given a double. Had to wait whilst they remade the beds. No drying facilities (coast to coasters beware). Microscopic basin, barely big enough to fit your hands in. The fancy kettle wouldn't even fit in it properly - water poured out of the 'designer' spout all over the floor as you manoeuvred it out. Garish but colourful decor throughout (see positives).
none better
all good
Fantastic location, friendly staff and a great breakfast.
The room we stayed in. Thwaite was clean but according to the website had recently been fully refurbished! The bathroom which was across the corridor desperately needed updating. The shower was new but the rest was very dated.
