A lovely place to stay in Reeth with an outside terrace
Pros:

A very enjoyable stay and I would definitely book again
Pros:

Great location. Comfortable room. Lovely staff. Excellent food. Dog friendly (with unexpected treats).

Cons:

Great character but a little sad to see a wonderful old property with opulent decor fading and in need of maintenance.

Hotel is not five star ( I would say 3⭐ ) very misleading the way it’s advertised The sign actually on the hotel says five star restaurant with rooms.. its very tired looking our room needed a refurb ..Paint peeling of the windows . Ect. The garden to the front needs a lot of attention.. The place could be amazing but I do get it that would cost a fortune.. Terrible smell of dogs in our room the third day that I found strange I’m guessing they used the hoover after doing a room that had a dog staying.. breakfast was ok except the last day the omelet was amazing.. The staff are making the best with what they have ..
