Umadewi Surf & Retreat

Die Hotelanlage ist super schön, das Personal ist total freundlich und das preisleistungsverhältnis passt auch! Wir waren für 4 Tage da und hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit. Die meisten kommen hier her zum Surfen & dafür sind die Wellen auch echt perfekt. Vom Hotel aus kann man jeden Tag die Surfer beobachten.

Location and the accommodation was fantastic, quiet, room was dark so good for sleeping, gardens and lawn made it feel cool.

Terceira vez que nos hospedamos nesse hotel. Para quem surfa 'e perfeito, pois as ondas boas de Medewi estao em frente. A estrutura do hotel oferece um jardim cheio de coqueiros, piscina deliciosa, spa e restaurante com comida gostosa e uma vista pro mar linda.
Todos os funcionarios sao muito amaveis.

One of my favourite places in Bali - Medewi and Umadewi Surf and retreat. For the first time I stayed in one of the garden view rooms towards the rear of the property. My friends stayed in the loft rooms above. I spent very little time in my room but it was comfortable, had a great bathroom and small balcony.
Access to the surf (and the waves were good) is easy and outside showers and board storage is provided.
Restaurant and food was good however after several stays here it would be nice to have see some changes or additions to the menu. Staff - wonderful.
Spa - 2 massage therapists and both are awesome. Bookings essential.
Grounds - there are some works (improvements) being carried out near the pool - hopefully to accomodate a BBQ option and outside dining once a week.
Nothing to dislike and will be heading back in 2027.

The service, the rooms were clean and the location incredible!

We spent a few days at Umadewi Surf & Retreat while my husband was surfing, and it was an excellent experience. The waves are literally right in front of the hotel, making it the perfect location for surfers.

In terms of cleanliness, food, facilities, and overall comfort, everything was a 10/10. The staff were welcoming, the resort was well maintained, and the atmosphere was incredibly relaxing.

Les chambres vues mer directement sur le spot sont exceptionnelles. Calme absolu (sauf le bruit et l’air de la mer) Le personnel est au petit soin, chaque personne m’a fait me sentir comme chez moi. Bali comme on l’aime.

We absolutely loved it! Thank you for everything - we had such a wonderful time and will definitely be back. Sampai jumpa lagi!

Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön, gepflegt, ruhig und super gelegen - direkt am Surfspot. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

My second stay at Umadewi this year, and definitely not my last. The team is exceptional — genuinely some of the best service I’ve experienced anywhere, always professional, warm and incredibly kind. The grounds are beautiful, the restaurant is excellent, and being right in front of Medewi’s main wave is hard to beat. A very special place and I can’t wait to come back.
