Great location

We have stayed in Medewi area for many years but this has definitely been the best place we have stayed at.
Set on the beach in front of Medewi surf break, location could not be better. A series of small cottages are set in the middle of lovely gardens between beach and pool. Room are a good size with a big bathroom and comfortable beds. The restaurant serves very good food at reasonable prices
The highlight of this hotel is the excellent staff, very friendly with an amazing ability to remember our names from first day. A special shout out to Arna and Shinta who brought us beautiful smiles each day along with our food.
We had a great 5 days there and hope it won't be too long before we return

Great location for relaxation, fantastic views of the ocean, surfing in this area is very popular, accomodation is excellent, restaurant has a great variety of all style of foods, breakfast menu is superb, staff always super friendly and helpful, recommend highly

As a group of five, three being over 55 & the youngest 22 yrs old, this resort suited us perfectly for some downtime at the pool for the over 55's & some adventure for the other two girls. They had 2 hr surf lessons almost every morning & caught some waves as beginners. They also did a hike to a waterfall & went snorkelling, both a few hrs travel. (return)
Still, in terms of location, if you don't surf this appears to be a good starting point if you are after a little adventure.
All the staff were amazing. Very welcoming. Very polite. Very professional.
Our rooms were very well cleaned on a daily basis & re-stocked with bottled water, a rehydration drink, milk, Balinese coffee maker & coffee.
The bedding was luxurious & there was a choice of pillows.
The Bathroom had freebies such as cotton buds, a sewing kit, toothbrushes & toothpaste. The shower area was fully stocked with Shampoo, Conditioner & Body wash.
Breakfast was included & available until 5pm. Wow! From the big brekkie with 2 sausages, 2 eggs (however you like them) bacon, mushies, baked beans & 2 pieces of sourdough bread to Eggs Benny to Nasi Goreng. Also included was your choice of fresh juices, teas, Balinese Coffee.
Hint - If you like your Barista Coffee in the morning before you eat, order the Coffee before you order anything else. (it will cost extra) Once you have your coffee, then order your meal.

If you're a smoker, smoking is permitted in the outdoor areas of the Restaurant, around the pool & outside your villa. You will have to ask for an ashtray.

The pool area apparently has a 1st towels laid down get to keep the spot for the day policy. If you have an early bird amongst you, make use of them!

The Restaurant is a fairly casual dining space during the day, however when dining at night some people dressed for Dinner.
Tip - if you like Greek salad, DO NOT go there. ... unless you like eggplant, no greenery, a tablespoon of Fetta at best, no tomatoes. Not a Greek salad in my books. In contrast, the Ox tail soup was a major hit.
During our stay, there were very few young children to be seen & mostly 30+ year old surfers & over 50's.
We all enjoyed our time there so much that we pre-booked for next year.
Now that's a recommendation you can trust!

This was my 3rd stay and i’ll be definitely returning. It is the most magical and beautiful place with coconut trees to stay in with ultimate service quality! Everything is above and beyond. The staff is super kind and helpful, they remember each guest’s name always with a big smile on their faces. Their restaurant Kokos served the most delicious and healthy food. Top service quality. Definitely a returning guest.

Such a beautifully maintained property. The grounds are wonderfully taken care of and the facilities top quality. Beautiful pool and the surf break right at hour doorstep. The highlight is def the staff. They are so personable and friendly. Even the groundsmen say hello!
