In our recent visits to this area we have stayed in and experienced Cannobio, Verbania and Cannero Riviera (this place).
Pros:

Its primo waterfront location, with nearby free parking (using a placard from the hotel). And our room (#202) was very comfortable. Also, as a couple who do not enjoy lingering over a tasty-but-costly evening meal, we were delighted to find two well-suited-to-us waterfront-adjacent nearby dining spots (Rist. Magnolia and Rist. Lido Cannero). We would return to all of these places again for sure.

Cons:

Too bad that the town lawn crew’s leaf-blower was so loud and objectionable this morning throughout our otherwise-splendid front patio breakfast there. (Yesterday was perfect.) The hotel hostess explained that this was a biweekly occurrence over which they have no control, in spite of trying. So beware, every fourteenth day there may be such a disturbance. The odds say: Don’t worry about this.

La situation est top, le déjeuner est complet, et l’équipement de la chambre également, attention les prises pour le sèche cheveux ou autres est différent je vous conseille un adaptateur.

Cons:

La sonorisation des chambres et pas de parking vous trouvez des 🅿️ public non payant car l’hôtel vous donnera une fiche à mettre dans votre véhicule

Das Hotel ist sehr schön und die Lage super. Das Personal ist sehr freundliche und das Frühstück ausgezeichnet. In dieser Unterkunft kann man Ferien verbringen!

Gorgeous lakeside location with comfy rooms
Pros:

Fantastic location. Beautiful hotel with gorgeous lakeside seating. Our annexe room was huge with large balcony. Near the ferry terminal. Good walks from doorstep.

Cons:

Excellent breakfast but mildly disappointing dinner. Poor desserts. Lovely house wine
