We enjoyed our stay. The staff at reception were always helpful, booking transport with a smile.

Pros:

Our small family of three, my wife, myself and our 11 year old son, reached sterling after an extremely long journey from Kerala. The first indication that we have reached an extremely hospitable environment came right from the beginning with the security, who very kindly gave us directions, how to plan our trip for the next few days and so on. Further, in the main lobby we met ms.stella with her pleasant smile and warm composure, her welcome drink was soothing to a very tiring gut. Ms Rasika at the main lobby so conveniently explained every word..such pleasant and soft spoken staff. During our stay, the food we had from the streets didn't suit our son's digestion. He had a medical emergency at the wee hours of the night. The staff immediately responded to action helped us to change our bed sheets, to get us medication and checked on us the next morning with absolutely no fuss Any medical issue in an unknown town is worrying, but for not even a second did we have an alarming situation. The chef provided us the health drink we requested, rasika's home remedies and Mr. Rajkumar's timely help made us feel at home. After the long queue in meenakshi Amman temple, we were late for dinner time, but mr.rajkumar, made sure we had our dinner ready at the resort. Even when we wanted an extra paper copy of a document, the main lobby staff, helped with absolutely no fuss at all.
Been to many resorts, but the hospitality, care and comfort at sterling is unparalleled. Such an amazing, peaceful and divine experience.

Cons:

Water retention in the bathroom outlet. Quick water logging in the bathroom and that would last around 10mins to go out. Frequent power cuts at night which was the first time we encountered in a hotel stay ever. And the worse part was the checkout process. They made us wait at the parking for 30mins as some politician’s car was parked blocking the pathway to the exit and the security and the hotel staff simply could do nothing. They even refused to open the back gate saying it was permanently closed. Not a good experience at all. Would only recommend this place if you have no choice and need to stay for some urgency.
