Chambre spacieuse. L’eau de la douche est chaude
Côté propreté ce n'était pas nickel, globalement le ménage est fait à la va vite.
Le lavabo n’avait pas été frotté depuis longtemps. Présence de poils dans la douche et au sol, les coins ne sont pas nettoyés souvent...
Lit peu confortable, on sent les ressorts.
Sur 5 spots au plafond de la chambre, un seul fonctionnait.
La lumière du couloir rentrait dans la chambre par l’imposte vitrée de la porte et nous gênait pour dormir.
Mais notre séjour a surtout été gêné par les gens.
Le premier soir un homme ouvre notre porte, que nous n'avions pas fermé à clé, ne s'excuse même pas et reste dans l'embrasure de la porte un moment alors qu’on lui cri de partir. Comportement très bizarre.
Dans la journée, des vêtements qu’on avait mis a sécher dehors dans la cour sont détruits par deux chiens qui traînent dans la cour à certains moments. Nous ne savons pas ce qu'ils font là, et on nous avait dit de mettre nos vêtements dehors quand j’ai demandé un étendoir.
La deuxième nuit, à minuit et demi, de la musique très forte, devant notre fenêtre une voiture stationnée musique à fond. Nous gueulons et mon conjoint se fait cracher dessus par la fenêtre. La voiture s’en va. À 2h du matin, quelqu’un revient taper à notre fenêtre avec insistance.
Notre chambre donne sur la rue face au parc public, et notre porte est juste à côté de la porte d'entrée de l'hôtel. On entend donc la porte claquer régulièrement et les clients parler.
Conclusion : si vous cherchez un hébergement calme, fuyez ! Ou au moins demandez une chambre loin de l'entrée.
I stayed here during my world bicycle tour, and it was a good place to spend one night. It’s a very basic accommodation—nothing fancy—but comfortable enough and definitely better than camping after a long day on the bike.
The owner only speaks Georgian and russian, so communication was a bit difficult at first. However, Google Translate solved the problem without any issues. She may seem a little grumpy at first, but she was actually very kind and helpful. She even called a taxi for me when I needed one, which I really appreciated.
If you’re looking for a simple, affordable place to rest for the night, especially if you’re traveling by bicycle, this is a solid option.

Das Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber es ist alles da, was man braucht. Interessant, dass es vom Zimmer aus direkt eine Tür zur Straße gibt. Ursprünglich war das Gebäude wohl nicht als Hotel konzipiert.

The stay at the Ideal Hotel was very comfortable. The room was very large and spacious. The toilet was clean and the shower was very hot. The staff was very friendly and helped us a lot with everything we asked for. "Ideal" for a first stay in Georgia by bike.
The manager/owner was so helpful I organising a taxi to take me to a previous hotel where I had left my passport. Ordered the taxi at a good price and spoke to the hotel to let them know I was coming.
Also lent us a kettle and provided us with coffee. Couldn't have been more helpful with everything.
Friendly owner, basic English, good for couple days.
The shower did not drain and water eventually leaked cross the wall to a corridor.
The location was great, staff was very caring and friendly, the room was clean and comfortable.
