Very disappointing experience.

When we arrived, it became immediately clear that the apartment did not match the photos or the quality presented on Booking.com. The property was outdated, poorly maintained, and in an unacceptable condition. We found stains on the bed, walls and carpet, the sofa was old and completely different from the one shown in the listing, and there was an unpleasant smell throughout the apartment. Overall, the accommodation was far below what was advertised.

Because we did not feel comfortable staying there, we left immediately. We contacted Booking.com straight away, and they advised us to check out and submit a free cancellation request. We followed their instructions exactly. As a result, we had to find and book another hotel at the last minute during a very busy weekend, which caused significant stress, inconvenience and additional expense.

The host continued to treat this as a simple cleaning issue and offered to send a housekeeping team. However, our complaint was never just about cleanliness. It was about the overall condition of the apartment and the fact that it did not match the listing we booked.

We provided Booking.com with photos and videos documenting the condition of the property, yet no fair resolution or full refund has been offered.

Based on our experience, we cannot recommend this accommodation.

Unique stay in a great location.
Pros:

Beautiful loft unit with tasteful interior.

Cons:

the unit was not as well cleaned as I would have expected from a place like this, but I suspect this was a blip and not the norm for a place like this. I would still book this place again.
