La calidez de la atención y ayuda en las preguntas. Siempre bien dispuestos. El personal muy amable y confiable, especialmente en el restaurante...
La limpieza de las escaleras, se notaba que hay mucho uso y poca prolijidad
This hotel is beautiful and the staff is amazing. They were very attentive and accommodating. My room was beautifully decorated and very spacious. There was a full window (sliding glass door) as the entrance, a comfortable king-sized bed, walk-in closet, and lovely bathroom. What I did not anticipate was the full kitchen in the room, too. I was here for 4 days and could not have asked for more. On top of that, the in-hotel restaurant was excellent. Do not skip the sushi on Friday night.
The reason the Ikala did not get 5 stars were the very present issues. The first thing I noticed were ants. This is not the end of the world because this is the tropics. That said, in the bathroom, there were A LOT. Someone came with bug spray and handled the issue, cleaned the dead ones and the majority were gone. Make no mistake, the ants were present the entire time I was there. Just here and there, but always there. Then there was the shower. One afternoon, there was no hot water. Also, the shower door only opened 25% of the way, so I had to get in and out sideways. Then there are the bath amenities. I would suggest you bring your own. Their neon colors are really...something.
All in all, if I were to come back here with a family, this would be my number one choice if I did not want to pay Finch prices.
Terraza del comedor con gran vista a la bahía. Dormitorios muy cómodos. Personal muy atento.
Todo bien.
מקום פשוט ומקסים. צוות נהדר. שרות מושלם. מסעדה נהדרת על הגג.
nice hotel, good location not on the main street of the town, the staff was very helpful. We appreciated all help they provided.
can't think anything
The hotel is located on a quiet street right off the main road. The suites are generously appointed and spacious. The balcony is very useable as well. The hotel has a very nice rooftop restaurant and dinner and breakfast were great. There is a very nice pool and pool bar as well.
Highly recommend.
The staff were very professional. The rooms were spacious and very clean. Well appointed. Hotel location was great
Quiet, clean, comfortable room, good breakfast
Ubicación y comodidad y amabilidad del personal

Todo muy bien
El perro de 8n vecino ladraba bastante
This hotel was amazing in every way! Hotel itself is stunning. Boutique style but still has all the luxury amenities at a resort hotel. Rooms are modern and very spacious (actually room was quite large). The outdoor grounds are stunning - the built the hotel around the landscape (trees are inside hotel). Pool and pool bar also amazing. Pool bar is open late too. At pool bar- light dishes are offered like sandwiches and pizza. Hotel also has awesome rooftop bar and restaurant- which includes outdoor loungers (great view of the ocean). Rooftop restaurant food quality was fantastic- and menu offerings are plentiful.
Hotel staff is 5-star service with amazing customer service (we messed up on our reservation but front desk went above and beyond to help resolve. Front desk is open 24/7. If you visit Galapagos- HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL!
Very clean and great staff. Really a nice place to stay while in Galapagos. Room was well cleaned, front desk staff welcoming and competent.
Central location
We have just left this hotel this morning with generally negative views.
It’s a nice hotel with good facilities and very close to the main port and town area. We had a huge room with an enormous bed.
Very sadly in our experience some of the customer service ethos that we would expect from a hotel of this type and standard was woeful.
When we arrived initially we asked the receptionist what time we could have dinner in the restaurant. We suggested 7 and she said she would check availability. When I asked her a little later she said that it was closed as they had a group booking. We had a bit of a fraught interaction revolving g around his could they not provide dinner to residents. The reception team could not really have been any less helpful. I am celiac and need GF food and had contacted them before arrival to say as much. I never had a response.
Hey ho it’s a reasonable sized place so we went to find some where else. It’s not very easy to do but that’s the lot of a celiac☹️.
Roll on 24 hours and we headed up to the restaurant for dinner and the same thing happened. They had a group in and were not open for other guests. This time I had a bit of a “celiac dad on holiday” melt down ( I’m not really proud of myself) and this resulted in an offer to have a room service dinner. I am not saying there is not a place firm room service food but on holiday it’s not really what I would want. It’s the kind of naughty child vibe.
At this stage I wrote a less than flattering TA review (since replaced by this) and at breakfast the staff were all over me like a rash. Would we like a table for dinner tonight? What time ? We “ have group in” but we will let you have a table. Wow, thanks. We felt honoured. So at 7 we went for dinner. It was nice and I think we had very good service. Then it became clear that the breakfast for them was going to be open at 6am. That was not offed to us. We were leaving and we could have what hotels euphemistically call a “boxed breakfast”. These normally range from poor to grim and have no relationship to the nice breakfast that they have charged you for☹️. If you think they are normally bad try getting a GF boxed breakfast. They normally range from grim to off the bottom of the scale. Mine was water, a coffee, some fruit juice and a pot of chopped fruit. Place that on the scale yourself
So, make of this what you will. If you are not in a group then hopefully there will not be a group in. We travel extensively ( Two months into this trip) and we have never been in a hotel that wont let you have dinner in their restaurant.
Rooms were clean and spacious, breakfast was great and staff were lovely! I would definitely stay again and wish I stayed longer. Location was perfect, very close to everything in the town and less than 5 mins away from the port to get to other islands.
My room was gorgeous and this was the nicest hotel I stayed at on my recent Galápagos visit.
A serious word of warning however. Breakfast is served in the rooftop restaurant, which is beautiful. Breakfast was excellent and I’m sure dinner too, and the views were stunning, but there are a lot of steps and NO ELEVATOR. You have been warned.
What a little gem. We loved our time here. Exactly like in the photos. Once you enter the courtyard, it’s as quiet as a sanctuary. Our room was perfect, lots of amenities. Breakfast was incredible. Walking distance to loads of restaurants. The staff was outstanding. Can’t wait to come back!
