So so,.... the robe thing really is making me think twice
Pros:

The physical hotel itself and hoe clean it was.

Cons:

I had such a great time, that I bought a robe; but the staff gave me the robe without a tie. When I emailed them to mail me the missing tie, they ignored me and never fixed their mistake.

Always coming back!
Pros:

I cannot express my gratitude for EVERYONE at The Study. I have stayed multiple times due to my sister being a patient of HUP and every single time it has been the easiest process. You always get someone on the phone when you call instead of a machine, multiple times I’ve been able to make a reservation within hours of needing a room, and I’ve always been able to extend my stay on a day to day basis. The valet service of always being able to get my vehicle to quickly get back to the hospital is another thing worth mentioning. When things are already not going well, knowing I have a safe place to decompress within minutes of the hospital makes an incredible difference. I would recommend The Study to anyone at any time but especially if you have a family member treating at Penn.

I would definitely stay here again. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who was visiting Drexel and Univ of Pennsylv
Pros:

The front office staff is incredible. Special thanks to Patrick and Claire who worked hard to accommodate us. Sebastian was always so friendly and very helpful. Valet parking Fernando was exceptionally helpful when we arrived and always acknowledged us when he saw us.

Cons:

Housekeeping did a good job. However, in my opinion, they should be done cleaning rooms earlier in the day rather than 3-4 pm when guests are returning to their rooms. Also, guest requests should be answered promptly.

Terrible cleanliness and muddy footprints left by staff in bathroom
Pros:

I was extremely disappointed by the terrible cleanliness at the Study on my recent trip. When we arrived, there was no body wash. We asked for a refill. When we returned to the room later that day, the body wash was filled up but whoever did it left muddy footprints all over the white bath floor towel/mat, on the bathroom floor and in the shower. It was disgusting. I had to scrub the floors myself. We couldn’t use the bath mat. When I went down the following morning to tell the front desk, I asked them to provide a replacement clean bath floor mat and they said they would. But they never did! And housekeeping never once came to our room over three nights except to leave muddy footprints all over the bathroom floor. The level of carelessness and just simply not caring was astounding. For the price we are paying and the Study’s reputation as a hotel, this was just unacceptable.

I’ve stayed here previously and noticed that housekeeping seemed nonexistent - they didn’t come to turn over the room once in the three nights there. But this was next level. I am a longtime customer of the Study Hotels but will seriously consider taking my business elsewhere in the future.
