Beautiful Hotel, Disappointing Experience
Cons:

A very disappointing stay, especially given the price. We booked one of the hotel’s premium rooms with a jacuzzi for a two-night mini-honeymoon, expecting peace and relaxation. Instead, we were placed directly below the restaurant and event space.
On the day we were most looking forward to enjoying the room, we were instead dealing with constant noise from above - high heels, furniture movement, and general commotion, making it impossible to relax in the room we had specifically chosen to enjoy.
To escape this, we moved to the pool area, but that offered little relief. One side was affected by noise from the event, while the other was dominated by a loud kitchen extractor.
When we reported this to reception, the response was indifferent. We were told the manager would contact us the following day, which never happened. This lack of follow-up and professionalism was particularly disappointing.
Ultimately, while the views are stunning, the experience is let down by poor soundproofing and a lack of accountability. For what we paid, this fell far short of expectations.
------EDIT------
The manager called me this morning, but notably did not offer any apology. Instead, these were his exact words: "At least there wasn't music", "No one else complained", "You didn't have to write on booking.com", "Since you wrote on booking.com, I cannot give you 1 night for free".
What ultimately pushed me to end the call was his remark: "You didn't even pay that much, I sold rooms for more". At that point, I had heard enough and chose to hang up.
This interaction reflected a level of arrogance, greed, and lack of accountability that is deeply concerning. I would strongly advise others to be cautious when considering a booking here.

Super nice staff, very accommodating. Nice place to stay, but has some minor things that make it feel more budget rather
Pros:

Staff were super nice and our room balcony had a lovely view. Great service at breakfast, nice to have it included.

Cons:

Sparsely furnished, would've benefited from a seating area and coffee table inside the room, there was certainly room for it. And definitely a dedicated space for the coffee machine (essentially the mini bar area - each time I wanted to use the coffee machine I had to take it out of the closet and set it up on the desk and try not to make a mess). Bar/restaurant closed in the evenings, which makes it even more essential to have a comfortable seating area in your room (along with wine glasses and a bottle opener!) Parking is limited, we went during the off peak season so it was never a problem for us, but I can see how during peak season it would be difficult to find a spot. I think comfort of your stay depends on the room you get. We first got a room that was right next to the restaurant and it was basically the hallway everyone has to pass through to access their room. It lacked privacy, and requested a room change, which they kindly accommodated after the first day. We were moved to the bottom floor, which was for us a lot more comfortable and I preferred the privacy (plus it had a shower, the other room just had a tub, no shower), but that really is a personal choice.

Pros:

Надзвичайно цікава локація, тихе видовищне місце
Гарні великі чисті номери
Великий видовий балкон

Cons:

Would love to return at some point and highly recommend it to others.
Pros:

Beautifully refurbished little hotel. Friendly helpful staff, lovely greeting on arrival and throughout stay. The attention to detail was excellent, including the lovely smell as you entered! Lovely pool area, overlooking the gorgeous valley. The breakfast was delicious with good variety and made to order.

I would have rated this excellent if not for the noise from the restaurant every morning & evening
Pros:

Great location between Xlendi and Victoria. Pool and Patio Great. Good Breakfast although the waiter could be more friendly and a little more flexible. For example, one of our party wanted a single pancake with the eggs they ordered for breakfast from the included menu and he said no.

Cons:

All three of our rooms were right below the restaurant which has a cement floor. Every morning and evening when they open and close the restaurant they drag chairs, tables and equipment around the floor and you can hear it very loudly in your room. They held a wedding there on the Saturday night and the music and guest as well as chairs dragging across the floor continued until 12:30 and after we complained multiple times. We had a 6:30 wake up for the airport the next day so really not acceptable for this price of a property.

Very nice
Pros:

Breakfast, view, room.

Cons:

The shower. There was no shower tray, nor glass, so the water wet the whole bathroom floor.

Easy, elegant and priced well.
Pros:

I enjoyed my stay at Palazzo Castagna, I would gladly return. The former home has been tastefully renovated with an elegant palette and is a delight to the eye. My suite was spacious, very clean and neat as a pin. The air was fragranced with a light scent of bergamot, as it happens, is a favorite of mine. The bed and sheeting were a dream (pun intended) and I slept soundly.

The owner and staff were kind, courteous and solution oriented. We tested the limits of solutions to address a problem with Booking.com. Many thanks again to Nirosha Tanti. A stunning hotel is only a building without lovely people that make the stay worthwhile and encourage others or a return trip.

Cons:

New towels

Beautiful peaceful stay in Gozo. Would recommend!
Pros:

We loved Cesca’s Boutique. The location is beautiful - so peaceful and relaxing. The hotel itself is traditional but then modern inside. The rooms are super clean with amazing balcony views over the valley. The staff were super friendly, and the breakfast was great - would recommend the granola! We only wish the weather was better so we could have enjoyed the pool as it looked so nice.

Cons:

The only thing we didn’t perhaps realise before staying (and might not be all rooms), is that our room didn’t have a shower - only a bath with a shower head which went everywhere when in use. Otherwise, we loved everything!
