Great location
The food was not up to the same standard as my previous visit
Good location in the heart of Grassington. Good evening menu, nice food.
Our room, number 8, was very noisy because of being over the kitchen and a loud extractor fan came on at 7.30am and stayed on all day, sometimes until 10.30 pm.
The location
No parking and weak tea
Breakfast excellent, staff friendly and knowledgable
The staff were very good, very friendly and helpful
I would have preferred a larger bed. We will book a bigger room next time
Food and room very good. Staff very obliging
No complaints
We loved the situation right in the centre of the village, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was surprisingly quiet considering the music in the bar downstairs , the food was delicious
It rained a bit
Location in the village was ideal for restaurants and bars
No dislikes
The hotel was spot on right in the centre of the village staff was very good can't really complain 👏 👌
The weather
Location, staff, cleanliness.
Food and service was amazing.
Great location in this beautiful village. Check in was quick. The room was clean but dark, however this is an old building with small windows so not unexpected.
The bed was comfortable as were the pillows and there were sufficient sachets of coffee etc.
The shower was superb, great pressure and hot. The hand basin was difficult to use as the shelf was directly above it, maybe move it.
Breakfast was a big disappointment. We were asked to complete our choice the night before which we assumed meant our order would be freshly prepared.
The full English had been kept heated for ages, it certainly wasn’t freshly prepared. My wife left the bacon as it was like leather and poached eggs should be runny not hard boiled. This was the worse breakfast of our entire trip, topped off by a measly half slice of black pudding. Shame as the hotel itself was great.
Great location, room, food, friendly helpful staff, good choice good food and drink & ambiance
Ambience
Excellent breakfast
Even better menu selection for evening meals
Fine choice of ales
The community of Grassington
Wharfedale itself
This was our third visit to the Black Horse Hotel
Cramped bedroom and small double bed
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean and the food was brilliant. I will always stay now at the black horse when I am visiting Grassington
Nothing
Worth a visit ,a great place to stay wonderful
Nothing and leaving
