Lovely relaxing stay
Pros:

The staff very friendly, breakfast very good , the car park

Not that I didn’t like but a bit of TLC eg emulsion the walls and renew or deep clean the carpets , well done

La stanza della colazione era bella, con una atmosfera storica, purtroppo per i quadri e i tovaglioli da barbecue completamente fuori contesto.

Tutto. La nostra camera, per iniziare, aveva la moquettes appiccicosa e con visibili macchie per terra. C'era muffa, e il nostro letto a baldacchino era sfondato. Ruggine nella vasca e nel bagno in generale, legno marcio. Staff completamente assente, visto una volta, quando siamo entrati nel BnB, ma poi scomparso. La reception era addirittura chiusa. Per entrare abbiamo faticato, in quanto mancante il codice d'accesso, come hanno anche detto molte altre persone. La struttura in sè è carina, ma priva di cura e attenzione. Le mattonelle fuori erano fissate male, sporche o rotte. L'edificio era vecchio e sporco. La nostra finestra, rotta, era stata "sistemata" con del nastro adesivo, che ne vietava l'apertura.

STUNNING building and property with a history behind it, delicious breakfast, the closest bus stop is just outside

Cons:

We moved one of the beds and there was a whole pile of clipped fingernails underneath! Bathroom was also very tiny.

Great place, price, and breakfast
Pros:

Very sufficient organisation, I liked the idea of collecting keys with no fuss at the reception trying to find the booking, etc. Lovely breakfast. Beautiful interior in the rooms. Friendly staff.

La habitación que nos toco era grande, con un enorme ventanal

Cons:

Pues la comunicación fue horrenda. La entrada es autónoma y no nos dieron instrucciones , solo la contraseña sel wifi y el número de habitación . Menos mal que entraba otro cliente y nos abrió la puerta del hotel. Pregunte por la hora del desayuno a través de la web de Booking y me dijeron que se lo preguntará al personal, pero que personal ??
Al hotel le hace falta una reforma importante y urgente.

Great for a stopover not sure I would stay for a whole holiday.
Pros:

Great location. Easy check in and out. Amazing cooked breakfast!

Cons:

Rooms were tired, small and quite stuffy, but we had been given a fan to help with this.
Place needed more signs for somewhere with so few staff as things like breakfast options and instructions were left for the guests to guess.

Pretty location and nice garden with benches. I loved the old fashioned features such as the wooden window shutters. The host we met was freindly and nice. Loved the 4 poster bed too , comfy bed and pillows

Ok for money not a 4 star
Pros:

Ok for the money not a 4 star ⭐ ⭐⭐⭐. I would say 2 star ⭐⭐ TV was broken but the manger did replace it. breakfast was good bit small but very nice I was in 3 floor room the hot water in show takes 10 min to get hot shower was not that clean no will not come back

History and Homeliness
Pros:

It is a beautiful, historic and atmospheric building. The rooms are stunning and the views lovely. Our bed was soft and comfortable and HUGE! My dream of a four poster bed has been realised. We had five mirrors in the room (counted them for fun) and all the furniture was in keeping. There’s even a Corby Trouser Press!
The young man who met us at the door, showed us how to use the key and served us breakfast every morning is an absolute treasure. In another age he would be the perfect butler. Big shout out to him. The breakfast is excellent and the coffee very good.
Honestly a lovely place to stay.

Cons:

The stairs. We were in room 35. The stairs to room 35 are epic, mountain level epic. That said, it was worth climbing them to get to the room.
