HRH weekend trip
Pros:

The food was good, but the ambience was better. With the live band and all. The staff was friendly and approachable. There was a welcome drink which is replenish each time it finishes.

Cons:

We had a late check in due the surge of guest coming but still it was thorough.

The bed and pillow, to me was a bit too soft that I had a sore neck when my wife and I woke up.

Beautiful coastal escape
Pros:

Beautiful hotel, always immaculate everywhere you go and very friendly polite staff!

Cons:

Double beds in regular room are quite small, would be better to be 2 queens. For family of 4 options for room are limited without having to triple your budget.

Lovely stay
Pros:

Great customer service. With exemplary service standards exceeding guests expectations coming from the helpful Ms Sabihah from Reservations Team, the prompt and thoughtful Hilmi and Nizam from F&B and the amazing Rock Spa Team, HRH Desaru Coast is in a reputable position. Future guests to make their special requests prior, allowing some time for the respective Depts to act on, also to be specific and state with clarity for the Team of power staff from HRH Desaru Coast to execute as accurate as they could. :)

Cons:

Nothing to dislike. The hotel is great and has much room for improvement. For further enhancement, the hotel can be more self-contained; having a round the clock convenience store within, a Desaru gift/souvenir shop other than the HRH store. An in-house vendor to handle sweet room surprises for guests coming to celebrate. A fast food take-away outlet perhaps.

Warm Hospitality from Start to Finish at Hard Rock Desaru Coast
Pros:

I had a tremendous experience during my stay at Hard Rock Hotel Desaru Coast.

From the moment I arrived, I received a warm and genuine welcome from the front office team. Ms. Farah and Ms. Niya were exceptionally professional, friendly, and attentive, making the check-in and check-out process smooth and effortless. They are truly valuable assets to the company.

I also had a wonderful dining experience at the café in front of the stage. The food, service, and atmosphere were excellent. Throughout my stay, every staff member I encountered was helpful, approachable, and displayed the utmost kindness, professionalism, and dedication to their work.

Thank you to the entire Hard Rock Desaru team for making my stay so memorable. I look forward to returning and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking outstanding hospitality and exceptional service.

Staff Made All The Difference
Pros:

We chose to return this June because we didn’t have enough of the place last year. It was such a delight to be back. The smiling staff members and music made the atmosphere a welcoming and happy one.

The permanent availability of cold drinks option (almost always had cold plain water and another flavoured drink) plus a standing sanitizer dispenser at the hotel lobby were much appreciated.

It is definitely value-for-money as the accommodation rate included daily admission to the Water Park (re-entries permitted). Hotel allows borrowing of towels into the water park. The direct entrance from the hotel to the water park was convenient.

Special compliments to the following Service Staff:
- Syafiqah (Guest Service Manager) who remembered us from our previous trip and was always all smiles and attentive
- Rosli (Service Staff at Recreational Counter) who had an excellent memory for names and attended to our interests in his best ability whenever we had questions
- Bella and Kani (Staff at the Rock Royalty Lounge) who exhibited great guest service and maintained their composure even when faced with guests who did not adhere with the etiquette of dining at the lounge. They made us realize how challenging being a frontline staff is.

The food standard at the main restaurant seemed to have dropped slightly compared to last year’s. The food at the Rock Royalty Lounge, though more limited than the restaurant’s was however of good quality. The lounge however (if I am not mistaken) is only available to guests who have chosen certain room types.

It was overall a wonderful trip. We are looking forward to our next stay there already.
