Unfassbar tolles Frühstück. Man merkt, dass der Besitzer gelernter Koch ist und sehr viel wert auf Produkte und Zubereitung legt. Zudem ist das Besitzer-Paar sehr hilfsbereit.
Not a lot
All most every thing
Everyone was very welcoming, the room was very comfortable, clean and cosy. Breakfast was delicious with home made muesli, yoghurt, homemade jams, croissants...everything you could wish for.
Amazing Stay, lots of parking space. You enter through a little arch gate into a beautiful colourful garden full of character. Philip and Nicky were so friendly and welcoming, they took the time to chat to us and ask us about our stay. We were given all the information we needed about the hotel and the surrounding area. We went up the winding stairs to our room which was well serviced with everything we needed, ample amount of tea, coffee and hot chocolate facilities with biscuits, toiletries, sweet treats and water and if we needed more of anything it was in baskets placed around the hall way. Everywhere was spotless. We then went into a Tudor style room for breakfast which was amazing, A variety of cereals, fruits, yoghurt, croissants, full fry if you wanted or eggs cooked anyway you wanted with toast. As much of a selection of juices, tea and coffee that you wanted. We have been travelling for over 30 years and have never stayed in such a welcoming hidden gem as The Olde Forge Hotel. Having to leave to stay at a Hotel at the Airport with no character. Yes big, new and modern but no friendly welcome, enough tea, coffee and milk only to do just 1 cup each, (my pet hate) no biscuit, food just average and way overpriced.
Wonderfully friendly and accommodating, the room was comfortable and spotlessly clean and the breakfast superb.

Charmingly outdated & needs a little TLC
Me encantó que es auténtico y mantiene la esencia del lugar. Pese a que el estilo es antiguo todo está cuidado con mucho mimo. Está increíblemente limpio. El desayuno es fantástico y todo el personal muy atento.
Such a pretty place, easy access to everything, Nicky & Philip our hosts are fabulous- nothing too much trouble, garden is lovely, breakfast is awesome- feels like a home away from home
No aircon- having said that there was only one night it was needed the rest, the fan & the cool breeze were perfect

The unbelievably arrogant and inflexible approach of the owner, who was ride and awful. I would never consider this hotel again. And warn against it.
