Elliot Park Hotel, Autograph Collection

Nice hotel! I always rank hotels based on its fitness center, shared lobby space, food (tavola is excellent), and shower. All were great! I have been looking for a nice hotel in Minneapolis that is walking/running distance to the river downtown. I have now tried a number of the Marriott properties, and this one is my favorite - I’ll be back.

The Elliot Park is a decent hotel, but it didn't work as well as it should for the price point. We experienced a lot of minor issues. There was one robe for a double room, the decaf coffee in the restaurant was cool, a glass of wine was overcharged by $8 during happy hour, and parking valets were hard to find. We had a $100 credit from a Chase credit card. When I checked out and asked for a receipt showing all of our credits and charges, I was told that it wasn't possible because the charges against the credit had already been processed. The front desk person could only take a photo of her computer screen on her phone and show it to me. The stay was disappointing.

This place was wonderful! It’s a very cute hotel in a perfect location. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay here again.

New modern hotel in quiet part of downtown but still walkable to most things. High recommend and always disappointed when it's sold out and I have to stay elsewhere.

Lovely staff

It's a good hotel with pleasant staff, contemporary vibe, spacious room, illy coffee maker, comfortable blanket (heavy enough for me who gets cold at night), free coffee at the lobby, etc. However, I have to say I do not like the sliding door of bathroom. The door hang so far away from the wall, hence, no privacy of bathroom sound. I don't appreciate the recent trend of many hotels installing sliding doors for bathroom. Please install proper traditional doors for bathroom! I would have rated five stars otherwise.

Fantastic experience at Elliott Park. Was my first visit, won’t be my last. As a voluminous business traveler, have experienced many, many properties for the first time. Pretty rare for me to enjoy an initial visit as much as I did this one. Service was great, love the room setup (fantastic windows and high ceilings), a more than functional gym, and to top it off was just fantastically clean. A shoutout to the team at Elliott Park as well, made my stay super comfortable. Look forward to quite a few more stays there to come.

Great Stay, Even Better Staff

Solid hotel with genuinely standout service. Byron and the front desk team were warm, welcoming, and on top of everything — the kind of staff that makes you feel taken care of from the moment you walk in.

Kaylin Nguyen in guest services and manager Jamie K arranged a surprise bottle of prosecco and a plate of cookies for my friend’s 50th birthday upon arrival. It was a thoughtful touch that made the whole trip feel special.

I'm sharing this now, here, as I requested a response in person and via email and received none from my stay on May 18.

During my stay, I developed numerous bites across my torso, which caused significant discomfort and concern. Due to my concern about the room/bed/sheets and the impact on my health and comfort, I made the decision to check out early. At the time, I spoke with the manger. She said she would look into in get back with me. I also requested compensation for the inconvenience in the form of Bonvoy points, but I have not received any follow up or resolution.

I am a titanium elite member and have been loyal to Marriott Bonvoy for years. This experience, combined with the lack of response afterward, has been very disappointing.

I would appreciate a prompt review of this situation and an update regarding appropriate compensation for the disrupted stay and inconvenience it caused having to rebook the rest of my stay - flights/hotels/road transportation.

The hotel was good, but also missed the mark in some regards that are important. First, my room did not have any water bottles upon my arrival. I picked some up from the gym. The gym is fine, but is nothing elaborate and could use more equipment include kettle bells and attachments for the machine. Second, the hotel needs to serve breakfast by 6:30am or earlier for business travelers. A dozen folks queued up for breakfast at 7am, which took almost 30 minutes to arrive once we sat down. It was too long. The bar and restaurant at night are good, but it is pricey. Pricing overall of the hotel is good.

Excellent location! Very walkable to restaurants in downtown Minneapolis. Hotel very clean and friendly staff. The onsite restaurant had an amazing late night menu as well. Mosaic Venue hosted my good friend’s wedding and it absolutely amazing!

I had an absolutely fantastic 4-day visit at Elliot Park Hotel! From the moment I arrived, the check-in process was seamless, welcoming, and incredibly efficient. I was especially delighted by the complimentary suite upgrade, which made my stay even more memorable.
The suite itself was exceptionally spacious, beautifully appointed, and incredibly comfortable—truly a perfect home away from home. Every detail contributed to a relaxing and enjoyable experience.
I also want to highlight the outstanding housekeeping team—their thoroughness and attention to detail were evident each day. Returning to such a pristine and refreshed room was a real treat.
What truly sets Elliot Park apart, though, is the people. Every employee I encountered—from valet to maintenance—greeted me with genuine smiles and kindness. That consistent level of warmth and professionalism made a lasting impression.

Wife and I came up from Iowa for a show at the armory. Got an incentive deal through the Marriott app, so when I arrived, I received credits towards the restaurant or minibar that covered a nice dinner for two and a candy bar. Was in easy walking range of the venue, restaurants, etc. The receptionist was exceptionally polite and helpful. The hotel room aesthetics are thoughtful and unique. Room service from the Tavola restaurant of sea bass and truffle fries was fast and delicious. Valets were accessible and efficient. Overall, A+, look forward to the next stay.

This is now my favourite hotel in downtown Minneapolis. The staff are amazing, welcoming and accommodating. Clean, spacious and comfortable rooms. I'll be staying there regularly in the future.

Hotel is clean. Staff is very accommodating. The furnishings in the room and bathroom was more upscale than I expected. We ate at the bar and the food was reasonably priced and very good. The beds and pillows were pretty comfortable. I would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful hotel, friendly staff, convenient location. We had a great stay downtown for a girls night. Concert, dancing, and breakfast the next day were all amazing! Definitely would recommend.
