Everything was perfect
The staff were incredibly helpful, especially Ahmad and a lovely young woman at the reception desk who's name i didn't get. She helped us move to a different bigger room when we were sorely disappointed with the one we got. The location is very central and close to everything.
OK to start this off, this is definitely not a 5 star hotel. I would mostly give it a two star rating. Sure the location was fantastic, but it's not worth it. The hotel is very dim and grim and depressing. There is no lobby to sit at. The front of the place is a bar and behind that a table that's used as a "reception desk". Unseemly for a hotel that claims to be 5 stars. The breakfast wasn't bad but it wasn't as fantastic as the reviews make it out to be. The door to the bar was constantly open at breakfast, and it was freezing cold and people from outside the hotel would come in and out. The staff at the breakfast buffet didn't speak English, some stuff was broken (the toasters) and they barely understood us when we told them, ended up eating cold stale bread. The room we booked for 3 people (sisters and mom) turned out to be extremely small. A they added a cot that wouldn't even fit a child, very uncomfortable and back breaking. The mirror in the bathroom was broken. Then water was cold. And we had no room to move when we opened our 3 luggages. It was awful and we even considered moving to a different hotel if they hadn't changed our room. Thankfully they did. To summarize; this is no 5 star hotel, don't get fooled by the rating. The food was mediocre, the atmosphere grim and depressing and I'd only pick it if you were 2 young people who stay at the hotel to sleep.
