Japanese-style room of a good size with windows on two sides. Outlook is better on higher floors. Great bento boxes available via the lobby.

is very near to wenchihu train station. the room is very very big. good experience with tatami bed. lucky me to be able to upgrade to window room and allow me to get the cold air into room and see the nice view out there. can find many lunch box and food near by. 7-11 is just next by.

Charmantes japanisches Zimmer in einem malerischen Bergdorf
Pros:

Der japanische Stil des Zimmers ist sehr charmant. Es gibt eine Fernsteuerung für alles, was schon sehr praktisch ist. Der Badezuber ist genau das richtige nach einer langen Wanderung. Das Hotel ist sehr sehr gut gelegen. Das Abendessen kostet extra, ist lecker und es gibt auch eine vegetarische/vegane Option.

Cons:

Unser Zimmer hatte leider nur Fenster ohne Mückenschutz zum Innenhof mit Blick auf die Feuertreppe. Die Klimaanlage ist sehr laut, dass ich währenddessen nicht schlafen konnte. Das Lüften wurde dadurch etwas schwierig, aber nicht dramatisch.

Pros:

Located right next to the Train Station, was a great location.
The room was very cute and the receptionist was the best!
We only spent one day in Fenqihu but had a great time.

Cons:

The room was sweet but fresh air from a window would have been nice. It wasn't clear from the photos that a proper window only comes from a premium room.

Un hôtel de campagne au charme rustique, satisfaisant pour faire une étape d’une nuit à Fenchihu
Pros:

Chambre spacieuse et lumineuse (2 fenêtres), disposant d’un espace pour prendre le thé et d’une armoire avec penderie. La literie est conforme à la description de la chambre (matelas au sol) et ferme. La salle de bain est fonctionnelle et, en cohérence avec le style général de la chambre, le bac de douche est remplacé par une sorte de mini-baignoire en bois, dont l'eau s'écoule directement sur le sol, dans lequel se trouve une rigole d’évacuation de l’eau. Personnel professionnel, anglophone, disponible, aimable et serviable. Petit déjeuner non-évalué. Comme précisé sur le site Internet de l’établissement, l’hôtel ne dispose pas de parking car il est situé au centre du village, dans une petite rue. Il est toutefois possible de décharger ses bagages devant l’entrée sans trop gêner la circulation puis d’aller se garer sur des places de stationnement gratuites à proximité. La situation de l’hôtel est parfaite pour se promener dans le village.

Cons:

Le ménage élémentaire est correctement fait et la chambre est propre. Toutefois, il ne s’en dégage pas une impression de grande netteté. En effet, les équipements divers commencent à dater (meubles, décoration) et certains sont abîmé (rideaux des fenêtres, miroir et certains joints de la salle de bains). Surtout, certains recoins probablement peu observés par les clients mériteraient un nettoyage plus poussé (encadrements de fenêtres un peu poussiéreux par exemples). L’insonorisation est faible mais cela n’a pas posé de problème car les clients étaient discrets. Cela peut faire partie du charme d’un petit établissement à la campagne mais les odeurs de cuisine peuvent se faire sentir dans les parties communes (dès le matin). Les oreillers sont compacts, très fermes et relativement hauts, ce qui ne permet pas un bon maintien de la nuque et peut nuire à la qualité du sommeil.
