Front of house was extremely helpful and polite.
As soon as we walked in it smelt so fresh and looked spotless. Our room was beautiful and everything was so fresh as if it was brand new.

Le petit-déjeuner est excellent
La chambre dans le basement sentait très fort l’humidité ce qui n’était pas du tout agréable. Le personnel de l’hôtel n’est pas du tout serviable et a fait comme ci de rien n’était.

We particularly liked it was small with a lot of charm and away from the centre of Bath without being too far away
The property itself is beautiful.
A couple of things I’d change and I’m being slightly picky and it would be the pillows and have a light weight summer duvet on the bed instead of the heavy one we had.
Spacious, elegant room and fantastic breakfast.
Wish the restaurant was open in the evening as I’m sure, based on the quality of the breakfast and lovely dining room, it would mean you wouldn’t need to go into the City centre which was a good walk away

Being an old building, albeit beautiful, it did not have air-conditioning, although a fan was provided.

La chambre était très spacieuse avec grand lit et canapé confortables.
Petit déjeuner pris dans une jolie salle avec verrière, tables avec nappes blanches, beaux couverts et service de table.
Il est proposé une partie en buffet (avec notamment des fruits frais et du yaourt) et un plat servi à la carte: très bon !
Le centre touristique est un peu loin à pieds (même si c'est faisable surtout à l'aller - c'est en descente) mais des arrêts de bus très bien desservis sont à proximité.
L'hôtel dispose d'un parking
Il faisait chaud, les deux ventilateurs mis à disposition étaient un peu insuffisant, nous aurions apprécié une clim.
The hotel was absolutely beautiful the foyer was decorated beautifully as were the bedrooms! The check in clerk was so friendly and welcoming I have nothing but good things to say we loved our stay and will be back
