Breakfast was had variety of things which I founded pleasant. Maybe I bit too much on the side of sugar than salty, which I find more attracting as breakfast. But overall, Good coffee although only one type was available, basic hot breakfast products were there and basic cutlery for sandwiches. As well relatively much fresh fruits.

By far the worst hotel on Terceira Island I've ever stayed in.
If you rent the apartment counting on the washing machine, forget it because it doesn't work. If you want to use the dishwasher, buy the tablets.
If you want the beds changed, you have to ask because the hotel can't change the beds every day, and be prepared to hear from the rude and arrogant housekeeper because it's your word against hers.
If you're taking a shower and the shower gel runs out, that's also normal, stop and go to reception to ask for more.
Going out for a walk on the island and returning to the hotel only to be denied entry to the apartment because the card stops working is also a normal situation.
If you expect to have a vacation or talk to someone responsible to try to resolve the situation, it's also not possible because there's never anyone there, the hotel is governed by the wind, at the mercy of the tide.
I'll definitely return to Terceira Island, but I'll never go back to the Hotel Cruzeiro.
We loved everything about this hotel. It was spacious, the location, the breakfast and the staff were all impeccable.
The staff were all so incredibly friendly and kind and were quite sweet to our young son, especially Leonora.
The breakfast had so many choices and was delicious.
The location is also amazing as it is a very short walk to praça velha (the city square).
The rooms were impeccable and clean.
We can’t wait to return. We’ve already spread our recommendations to family and friends!

El desayuno fue espectacular, mucha variedad, todo muy rico, productos locales para probar, el restaurante cómodo, el personal atento.

Location was excellent
It felt like it wasn’t finished lots of burned out lightbulbs, and there was a hole in the ground covered by wood planks, plus a lot of the doors are not Self closing so even late at night some of the doors were not open to the property which led to security concerns
