A very welcoming and cozy space as we come through the front door. A feeling of home away from home. The reception area was very cool and the staff was friendly. We had a lovely drink in the terrace which was charming and peaceful. Our suite was spacious, with a well-stocked mini fridge and great amenities, including bathrobes and slippers which I didn’t expect from an B&B. Very thoughtful to provide free glass bottled water on each side of the bed. Our room was most importantly very clean. They offered full clean or room refresh options. Their breakfast menu was extensive providing an option of continental or hot breakfasts (a supplement of £5 if wanting both options). Breakfast order forms were provided to choose your options which was very organized. We had the freshest and most generous portions of full English breakfasts, smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, as well as their continental options over our two nights’ stay. The freshest of ingredients were used and it was just exceptional!
Our room door was left unlocked after our room was serviced (we chose the option of a room refresh). The room door could be opened from the outside (not ones that automatically lock when you shut the door). The room doors should be locked after room cleaning to ensure safety of guests’ belongings.
Face towels could be a helpful addition to the towel amenities.
The hot and cold water setting in the shower was under par, we were only able to get it to a warm temperature neither hot or cold.

A good walk to Clifton Village. Flights of steep stairs not mentioned on site. Bathroom layout and poor lighting room 1.
Rain shower only no good if woman trying not to get hair wet. Shower basically in a cupboard very odd . No shower mat .
Bed and pillows too soft but personal choice. Ordering breakfast night before..a pet hate! Extra charge if wanted additional fruit/cereals if having hot breakfast or vice versa. Toast I think homemade bread or sourdough very hard crunchy not edible or enjoyable. Breakfast covered in pepper snipped chives and served with rocket not necessary. Better quality apple juice. Only fire exit down to 2 steep flights if stairs not ressuring when on top floor. Room not serviced if don't put sign on door.. we forgot as out before 6am at Balloon Festival.Would expect room to be serviced unless sign put on door to say don't.Macaroons nice touch but not everyone likes them good quality biscuits are fine.Room would be unbearable in very hot weather despite a fan and ceiling fan. Depressing choice of background music when having breakfast

The property had very steep stairs between floors, which could be a problem for some less able guests.
