Pros:

The location was very convenient, beach front was cherry on top, and the view from the room was absolutely gorgeous; never left the room for the sunrise as I filmed it straight out of the window. 10/10 experience tbh

Cons:

Couldn't find the parking space when arrived but found one later in the night

Good family holidays near beach
Pros:

The location is great as it’s near the lively beach

Cons:

The entrance of this 2 BHK flat wasn’t clean and it didn’t look like a hotel entrance at all. It had only 1 bathroom for such a large apartment.

Excellent hotel for getting around, welcoming and excellent food.
Pros:

Excellent location for facilities and tour buses etc. breakfast was fabulous. Staff smiley and courteous and extremely helpful. It was busy and the communal lounge was used and welcoming.

Pros:

The staff was amazing, everyone was very attentive, friendly and cheerful especially Manuela in Reception.

Cons:

Room needs a bit more attention, the dust was very thick like from a few weeks not just days on the top of the bed headboard, had to wipe it down, and the walls by the kettle area could do with a wipe.
The view of the window was to the back of an ally and again needs attention, old chair and stuff just thrown there.

We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely go back.
Pros:

The seafront position. Cleanliness. A lovely dining room with fantastic food. Friendliness of all the staff especially the service from the waitresses and house maid.

Cons:

We felt there were areas that could be improved such as; the Reception area which appears drab and in need of sprucing up; the seating and tables in the entertainment area need refurbishing and our bathroom had mould on the ceiling.

This is my second stay, 1 as solo traveller , 1 with a friend. I will definitely return.
Pros:

All staff very helpful. Great location 2 mins from the pier. Lovely breakfast.

Cons:

We were in a twin room. My friends mattress had worn a little unevenly causing her to roll to one side a little

All in all I will give you 95% room for improvement
Pros:

Have stayed at the merrion before. Staff. Food. Brilliant. Very good position. Secured car parking. Have known Brian the night porter for a couple of years he is a great fella.

Cons:

Room was a little bit tatty. Paint on walls could be improved. Floor board in bathroom loose very noisy if you walk over it all the time silly things like soap holder broken. Some black mould on shower tiles
