Muito muito além do que esperavamos
Pros:

O cafe da manha foi digno de um hotel 5 estrelas. A localização perfeita, vivenciamos estar dentro do castelo. Sem duvida a melhor escolha da nossa viagem na Croacia (Spli/Hvar e Dubrivinik).
O atendimento do hotel impressionante, nos ajudaram ate o Ferry para Hvar.
O quarto maravilhoso, camas confortaveis, banheiro amplo!

Highly recommended.
Pros:

We stayed one night at Hotel Cardo as a family of four en route to the islands, and it was a wonderful introduction to Split. The hotel is beautifully located right inside Diocletian's Palace in the heart of the old city. The room was quiet, comfortable and very well appointed.

The staff were the highlight though. Friendly and attentive in a way that felt completely genuine. They'd offered to arrange a golf cart transfer to the ferry terminal, and when that fell through at the time we needed it, they simply picked up our bags and walked us there themselves. It made a real difference and we won't forget it.

Localização excelente e café da manhã incrível em restaurante quase ao lado! Atenção dos atendentes gentis, que nos buscaram para estacionar o carro e carregaram nossas malas.

Cons:

Única ressalva são as escadas até o terceiro andar para o quarto, o que pode ser difícil para idosos. E faltou condicionador no display do banheiro.

wonderful hotel in a great location in the old city.
we got a very quiet room with great amenities.
exceptional generous delicious breakfast in a beautiful courtyard with very friendly staff.
The hotel manager Ivan was exceptionally helpful during our stay. he was able to arrange and book last minute wonderful private day tour. he went above and behond
to make sure we have a good time.
we cant wait for our next time staying at this gem of a place.

Exceptional stay in a boutique hotel
Pros:

Boutique hotel with exceptionally nice rooms in the middle of the historic city!
The staff is very welcoming, friendly and ready to assist with any of your requests.
The rooms have a great sound insulation, so you practically don't hear any noise from outside even though it is in the middle of a busy area.
We received great restaurant recommendations and the staff took care of booking our table for us!

Luxurious stay in centrally located 2 bedroom space with fantastic staff and breakfast

The luxurious and historic hotel was ideally located in the walls of the Diocletian Palace. Steps from excellent restaurants, the Riva, shopping, and historic settings. The bedding and shower were perfect. The included breakfast was delicious and more than we could possibly eat. The staff, Ivan and Edita, made rental car parking and luggage management a breeze and were unfailingly gracious and kind. A truly wonderful 3 day stay in the historic area of Split.

Pros:

Location was excellent - right in the heart of old town. Staff was amazing - thoughtful, courteous and eager to assist in anyway they could. Breakfast was at local restaurant and was wonderful - nice choices and generous portions. Also, room was quiet and comfortable.

View from room was just okay - but still a great stay.
