Nice hotel room and good quality breakfasts.
Pros:

Location, friendly staff, clean, parking available. Rooms overlook the sea. Quiet. Breakfast choices and quality of food and cooking was good. Loved our room despite being a bit chilly first thing in the morning as heating was not on.

Cons:

Towel rail never came on - reported it and was told later it had been fixed but it still didn't come on. Same for safe - stuck shut from previous occupant. Minor issues in context of an enjoyable overall experience.

Brilliant one night stay in lovely little hotel by the sea
Pros:

Seafront location. All rooms bright, airy and clean. Great breakfast. Lovely bedroom. Friendly staff.

Pros:

The location. The parking. The shared areas.

Cons:

The breakfast was only OK. The shower in the bedroom was cold. The bar wasn't always available. No drinking water in the rooms and no shampoo or conditioner. Only instant decaf coffee.

Very good standard
Pros:

The room was very nice.
you could see and hear the sea from the bedroom window and the dining area.
Located on the sea front and very close to the town centre.
Excellent restaurants and bars very close.
Ideal location with car parking and good public transport links.

Cons:

The net curtain in the bedroom was too small for the window.
Although only a minor point ,it was a little below the standard the rest of the decoration and finish of the hotel set.

Beautiful hotel with a pokey and disappointing 'superior' room.
Pros:

The balcony and being so close to the beach and sea. Staff excellent. Breakfast very good.

Cons:

The 'superior' bedroom was tiny and pokey. Hardly wider than the double bed. Not enough room for two bedside tables. No complimentary shampoo or conditioner. I would have expected an eating height table (when seated) in the corner instead of a coffee table that was barely a foot high! These are all basics that even a Premier Inn has in it's rooms! The mattress was hard. This room should have been a single. The balcony was the saving grace.

Good hotel, we wouldn't hesitate to book again.
Pros:

Clean and freshly decorated. Lovely modern hotel with good quality ambience.

Cons:

Unfortunately we had very noisy neighbours both in the late afternoon and again at 1 am when we were trying to sleep.

Sjarmerende hotell med svært hyggelig atmosfære og god frokost.
Pros:

Flott beliggenhet rett ved strandpromenaden i hjertet av Sidmouth. Hjemmekoselig interiør og hyggelig personale. God frokost inkludert et utvalg av nydelig tilberedte varme retter.

Cons:

Separate kraner med varmt og kaldt vann på servanten på badet er veldig upraktisk og gammeldags. Lett å brenne seg på det svært varme vannet.

Elizabeth Hotel Sidmouth
Pros:

Lovely hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. Spotlessly clean. Brilliant location with car park at rear of hotel. Lovely and enjoyable breakfast with good menu choice albeit at an extra cost but well worth the money. Would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Cons:

There was absolutely nothing that we did not like about this hotel

Cons:

We understood parking was available but not bookable which is difficult to understand when the spaces were never empty.
When we arrived on the 8th we parked in an empty space we were asked to move our car because the space was already reserved.
We spent the whole of our stay trying to park which was very frustrating as even the seafront was always full.

Thoroughly enjoyed our short stay and would not hesitate to use again.
Pros:

Room was spotlessly clean and afforded us an uninterrupted sea view and the location was ideal for the purpose of our visit.

Cons:

Unfortunately the patio door was jammed and also won’t close.
Outside windows could do with cleaning.
Bathroom was confined and the shower door difficult to open and close.
Otherwise the room was fine !!!
