Location for views was very good Staff very helpful and chatty.
There wasn't a lot of choices for breakfast if you don't eat a cooked breakfast. I had porridge not very nice there wasn't any fruit or yoghurt available so I would have breakfast elsewhere unless you like the traditional.
Room was clean and tidy staff are very helpful
The location of the hotel is ideal. The room was spacious & comfortable. The staff were very welcoming & efficient.
When we first entered the room, we noticed quite a strong aroma of urine coming from the shower room, the room was clean, but I think the drainage system is not up to standard. Breakfast came with the booking, but it wasn't particularly good. My wife had a full English breakfast that was so small, one could barely call it "full". I ordered porridge, but what I got was more like flaked rice, followed by eggs benedict, the eggs were overdone, as were the bagels, & just one piece of bacon was placed on the side of the plate, pretty poor. I paid £182.00 for one night, for a 3 star hotel, that's disgusting. The price had been increased as there were events on at the open air concert venue, all hotels do this when such events are on, but it's a low & underhanded practice. As far as I'm concerned, we didn't get value for money at this hotel & it's very unlikely we'll return.
Beautiful views and rooms were clean and well presented
The breakfast was poor and the breakfast service wasn't great (had to keep prompting for things even when they required a menu card completing). Family room on pictures had bath and shower but the room we got only had a shower (which wasn't great with a little one that lives baths)
Large historic hotel
Our first room smelled of urine so the hotel upgraded us to one of the newly renovated rooms
Nothing
The hotel is very well kept and maintained.
The room we stayed in was very clean and was very adequate for me and my 2 children.
The staff are very friendly and help with everything you need to help you enjoy your stay.
Its situated in such a good place to get to the sea front and the centre its a win win all round.
There was nothing not to like.
Location friendly staff great room size clean and warm comfy beds
The walk up from the beach lol not the hotels fault
L'emplacement, la vue superbe sur la baie
Couldn't fault the place. Stayed in room 434 which was a family deluxe, very clean, comfy, bathroom was a great size. All which was 6 adults (2 rooms) enjoyed our stay.
Walk from the centre is up hill
Bedroom was warm, bedding clean. Pleasant staff, we were able to check in early. Able to park in the hotel car park.
Hotel has seen better days public areas very dated and in need of decoration . No cold water coming out of taps so unable to make a drink.
Lovley hotel
The location was excellent.
Carpets in hallways were very uneven and quite dated.
In our room we noticed some stains on the walls and carpets.
Shower drainage wasn’t the best, left standing in water.
Tap in bathroom couldn’t be used HOT as it spluttered the water out and made a mess.
The room had a great sized tv but it was barely hanging onto the wall.
