Cons:

Told not to drink the tap water but they charge for bottled water. Apparently that's not illegal in Italy.... But i kind of think drinking water is a basic right in a hotel? Staff were very helpful and the place was clean. Very convenient position. Basic accommodation

Catanias Perle, die Via Etna
Pros:

Sehr gute Lage in der Altstadt. Die Via Etna zählt zu den Hauptstraßen in Catania und ist zu jeder Tageszeit interessant mit zahlreichen Cafés, Bars und Restaurants und dem spektakulären Piazza del Duomo.

Cons:

Kein Safe, Shampoo und Duschgel gibt es nur in schwer aufzureißenden Einweg-Packungen.
Es gibt vier Schlüssel statt einer Zimmer- bzw. Hotelkarte.
Der Bewegungmelder, der eigentlich das Licht im Flur anschalten soll, reagiert erst nach 5m.

Pros:

The room was very spacious, the staff was extremely friendly. The location is perfect and convenient. It has a working FC, the bed was relatively comfortable.

Cons:

It is a bit difficult to find it in the first place. You have to get past 3 doors to get to the reception. Once you find it and they give you the keys it is a no brainer.

Pros:

Buena relación precio-calidad. Habitaciones MUY amplias (nos hospedamos en Suite y en habitacion triple). Personal amable. Buena ubicacion (a 10 minutos a pie del Duomo). Hotel ubicado en Via Etnea, 1er piso por ascensor. El personal de recepcion solo está presente de 7 a 19 hs.

Cons:

Las camas no son tan cómodas, y son algo ruidosas. El ascensor es algo incómodo (así y todo, útil).
