Dinner was fantastic
Smell in bathroom
Great staff, tidy room, and delicious food. See you next year!
Lovely friendly staff, clean rooms and excellent food
Great location and the room had brilliant views of the loch
Think the Inn was a bit short staffed , staff seemed to be a bit harassed but still provided good service
Persoonlijk was super vriendelijk en behulpzaam!
Breakfast hot and full Scottish best ever
Tv not working not a issue
Location… Connel is very picturesque. The hotel has a bar/ restaurant too so catering for evenings. Breakfast was both buffet and a cooked breakfast which was delicious.
The room was spacious, clean with a comfy bed. Tea and coffee with a kettle in the room. En-suite too. The power shower was lovely and warm with fluffy towels to dry yourself. The room was quiet although the pub was still open. There is off street parking too.
Staff are all polite and genuinely very helpful.
To fill the kettle, you use the water from the sink. I personally would have preferred bottled water for this. ( I know it is a silly thing but I genuinely do not like using water from the bathroom).
I loved the friendly staff, clean room, great location, excellent food and service.
Dog in the restaurant
Fantastic location good rooms
Nothing at all
Rooms very large and clean. Even though they were short staffed the staff were brilliant. Only downsize tv was roo small for room.
Room with a sea view was wonderful.
Disappointed in the evening menu.
The area of Connel is very handy for oban and sightseeing.
The bed in room 12 was extremely uncomfortable, the hard springs were poking out, it was a cheap bed but I would recommend spending a bit of money to get a decent mattress, I slept with the duvet folded over on top of the mattress plus the little quilt thing that sits on the end if the bed under that and I could still feel the springs. It was also extremely hot so good job we brought our own fan. Fairly noisy up and down the corridor and loud music from the kitchen on occasion however it did stop when I finally called reception.
The location, food and staff were amazing.
Due to having a Chronic illness I found it exhausting going up and done the stairs to our room.
There was an very good choice of foods and drinks for breakfast and a restaurant on site for those who don't want to travel. The staff were all professional and friendly. The Hotel was about 7 minutes from Oban by car and can be reached easily, buses with time table and taxis, which we were advised can be expensive. We had a room on the first floor overlooking the Loch. The views were stunning.
We went during a heat wave and we found the room hot. When we left the patio door open the traffic was a little loud. If climate remains as it is air conditioning may be required in the future.
Excellent location, very nice and clean room, bathroom spotless, big and tasty breakfast and exceptional service
Too short stay
