The bar will be closed every Monday until 31 March 2025.
Ironman Wales 21 September 2025. There will be some road closures.
Scaffolding has been removed from building.

Pros:

The location is top tier lovely hotel lovely staff

Cons:

The bathroom the sink tap kept leaking over the side and was very outdated compared to the rest of the room

Good but needs some improvement
Pros:

Loved the renovations so far and location was amazing, with good views of the sea.

Cons:

The room needed renovating. Shower leaked and was rusting. Carpet was covered in stains. The breakfast was really disappointing. Just offered a cooked breakfast (which wasn’t the best) and I did not want a greasy breakfast so didn’t eat much. Even if they offered some cereal, or fruit would make a big difference. Only was given one piece of toast by the chef, when I asked for another one as that is all I was eating, he looked at me as if I shouldn’t be asking that, like the food was rationed. Shame as the hotel has had great improvements and the location is amazing, but things like the breakfast really lets it down.

Just fantastic
Pros:

The room was small but very nicely decorated and the view from our room was amazing couldn't be better looking out over the beach and rolling sea... The breakfast was one of the best I have ever had very good quality and just helped your self to as much as you like great start to the day..And to top it all off was the themed pub joining the hotel with all it's film poster's life size models and movie memorabilia ..I loved that place.... Definitely will be returning some time very i hope soon 👍

Fantastic and friendly
Pros:

The staff were so lovely and welcoming. You got exactly what you paid for; good breakfast, fantastic location being right on the sea front and lovely people.

Cons:

There have clearly been some renovations recently, which I don’t think had quite reached our room as the bathroom was quite outdated. However, it was clean and functioning which is all we could ask for.

Location was good.

Cons:

Room was the worst I have ever stayed in.
The shower did not work. We were not able to bathe. The only window in the room had dried seagull shit covering it with view blocked by outside wall less than 1 meter away. The cupboard back had fallen off. The walls were cracked & wallpaper coming off. Paint was chipped on all walls. Bathroom floor had cracks in it with brown mould. Furniture was cheap & old.

Great location, Good cooked breakfast. Friendly staff.
Pros:

Location, lounge, bar, restaurant, super comfortable beds.

Cons:

Slight downside is the stairs. Elderly people will have a challenge if you are on the 3rd floor.

Nice view. The staff was super nice!!

Cons:

Stayed in the double room on 4th floor (many stairs!!). It was so hot like a sauna. Super small window so no breeze could get through. All four rooms on the attic had to sleep with the doors open to get some air in the rooms.
