Pros:

The breakfast was nice and very generous.

Cons:

I think for the price, the room was missing things - no light next to the bed, no glasses for water, we had to keep asking for more loo roll.

There was also a problem with the loo seat breaking which we were made to pay 100% for which I think was very unfair and handled very badly. I wouldn't recommend this place as a result.

Het hotel was zeer schattig, een leuk boutique hotel om te bezoeken. De medewerkers waren ten zeerste vriendelijk & ze stonden altijd voor me klaar. Fantastisch

Cons:

Ik heb weleens mieren in de kamer gezien en een spin. Bij het ontbijt komen er katten, als dat je niet zo uitmaakt dan is het een perfect hotel.

Amazing stay in the heart of the town!
Pros:

Mahzen Alacati was the perfect boutique hotel! We truly had an amazing stay and will definitely be returning. It is right in the heart of the pedestrian part of town. It was a one minute walk to restaurants, shops, cafes. Amazing location! The owner is a sweet and helpful young woman who makes a delicious breakfast. She gave suggestions for nearby restaurants and answered any questions we had. She also helped with bringing our luggage to the car which was parked a few minutes walk from the hotel. It was very clean and well decorated and our stay was both relaxing and enjoyable. I definitely suggest staying in this part of Alacati and highly recommend this hotel.
I would also recommend finding the hotel on foot before bringing your luggage. We found out that there was a closer parking lot from the owner than where we initially parked.

A charming boutique hotel with a lovely atmosphere and an exceptionally caring owner.
Pros:

A beautiful boutique hotel, especially lovely in warm weather. We visited during winter, which wasn’t the best timing, as the house is better suited for milder temperatures. That said, the manager/owner was incredibly kind and did her very best to make our stay comfortable. I would definitely recommend this place for a warmer season.

beautifully decorated; very convenient location - 10min walk to intercity bus station to/from izmir and cesme, 15min walk to havas airport bus station, not to mention many tasty local restaurants nearby; very friendly and helpful staff with nice communication; good breakfast; big enough bed for two people

Cons:

could add a bit of fruit or yogurt to the breakfast (we were there in November which is the low season, maybe in the summer there will be more choices)
